It is also designed in a way that you have to hold on to a button to unblock the app with a set timer to counter temptations and build resistance of going back to old habits.
Failing to hold the button will reset the timer and give you the moment of space awareness that pulls you back from subconsciously opening those distractions to rewire your mind into good habits.
