Faster home screen Your balances now appear about twice as fast when you open the app. Fixed a total that could leave out a group In rare cases the total on the home screen could miss one of the groups listed right below it. It now always adds up. "Added by" on expenses When you record an expense that another member paid, the expense now shows who entered it. Smoother group screens Swiping the category row at the top of a group no longer starts a refresh by mistake. Accessibility and text size Category icons now grow with your chosen text size, VoiceOver reads more of the app correctly, and group icons look the same everywhere.

Safer expense editing If someone else edits an expense while you have it open, xBill now tells you and loads their changes instead of silently overwriting them. Your edits are never lost without warning. Clearer category icons Food, transport, accommodation and other categories have more accurate icons, and they're now properly legible in Dark Mode. Plus reliability improvements under the hood.

Push notifications now work. Expenses, settlements, comments and friend requests reach the people they're for — and the notification settings in your profile now control what you receive, with a new toggle for friend requests. Fixed an issue where signing in on a second device stopped the first one receiving notifications.

Fixes • Splitting an expense by percentage now shows what each share is worth and how much is left to assign. • Fixed an error when changing how an existing expense is split. • Fixed screens that could keep scrolling past their content. • Add-friend QR codes now open the app directly. • The app no longer shows the login screen briefly when reopening. • App Lock no longer wakes the screen while the app is in the background.

Change who an expense is split between You can now edit an existing expense to add or remove people — including someone who joined the group after the expense was added. Choose equal, exact amounts, percentages or shares, just as you do when creating one. Editing an amount now updates balances Correcting an expense amount previously left everyone's balance unchanged. It now adjusts each person's share, keeping the proportions you originally set. Invites open the app directly Tapping a group invite from Messages or email, or scanning a group's QR code, now opens xBill straight away instead of going through a web page first. This also fixes an issue where an invite could show the group's name but fail to actually join it. More accurate receipt scanning Totals and item names are read correctly far more often, and tax is picked up on receipts that print more than one tax line.

Group invites now work Sharing a group by QR code or link now works properly — whoever you invite can see the group and join it. Invite emails include a working link too, and a single link can be used by everyone you're inviting rather than only the first person to tap it. Much better receipt scanning • Receipts you screenshot from an email now scan — they were being rejected as "too dark" • Well-lit paper receipts are no longer rejected as "too bright" • Discounts and vouchers count as reductions instead of charges • Item names survive on receipts that print the name and the price on separate lines • Far fewer invented line items from payment, loyalty and summary rows Assign a whole receipt in one tap New Everyone, Just me and Clear buttons on the receipt review screen, so a shared bill no longer costs one tap per line. Siri, Spotlight and Shortcuts Ask "Hey Siri, what do I owe in xBill?" for an instant balance, without opening the app.

Fixes a crash when editing how an expense is split, and a problem where buttons only responded near their centre. The balance widget now works. Adds an About screen and a refreshed look for controls.
