Outside the EU/EEA, the UK and Switzerland, it tells Meta when it is installed and opened. Nothing you record is sent, and Meta never gets your advertising ID. You can turn this off in Settings.

New in this update. • Monk is now free to download. Start the free 7-day trial and everything works. After that, Unlock Monk, a single in-app purchase, keeps everything open for good. If you bought Monk before, everything stays unlocked. • Send feedback from Settings: a subject, a few words and Send. It goes straight to the maker, with no email app. • Rate Monk privately in Settings with a row of five stars and an optional note. • Monk no longer asks you for an App Store review. • Widget previews in the widget gallery now wear the appearance you chose. • Close the day no longer shows a timer you finished today as begun again.

New in this update. • Today's practices widget: check off habits, log minutes and start a timer from your Home Screen. • Practice timers on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, with pause, resume and stop & log. You can turn them off in Settings. • Progress in every appearance: browse by week or month, and tap any day to review or correct it. • Opening Monk from the Calendar, Today overview or Today's practices widget now lands on that day. • In a day's review, the circle marks the day and the card opens the habit. • Commitment days now count the same in Today's calendar, Progress, the Calendar widget and the day review. • Undoing a past-day check-off now restores when a habit began, and marking a commitment's past day no longer moves its start. • Customize Today now keeps your changes when you close it without tapping Done. • On iOS 26, the Simple appearance follows your text size, and large text reads better across Monk. • Many smaller fixes for sync, strict phone fasts, streaks and accessibility.
