The Floracle is a weird and wonderful botanical game and Rorschach test in one. Your flower choices reveal who you are while challenges test and elevate your knowledge. Why play a shoot 'em up game when you can play The Floracle, a floral Rorschach test and botanical challenge game where you can learn something about yourself and the world around you? Each session pairs flowers from a database of more than 400 North American wildflowers. You choose — by instinct, by beauty, by something harder to name. The plants you're drawn to have something to say about you. The readings are written in second person, present tense, sometimes syrupy, other times with an edge but always grounded in real plant biology. Think the Doctrine of Signatures: the flower doesn't represent a human quality by metaphor. The flower is the metaphor, immersed in science. WHAT'S INSIDE The Floracle — a 10-round botanical game and Rorschach test. Each round presents two wildflowers. Choose one. At the end, the plant you chose most often in its category becomes your gift — a new flower added to your garden, with its own oracle reading and full botanical profile. The Garden — your collected plants that you've received, organized and browsable with botany and readings available to review. Collect all 402 species. Each flower's botanical note describes the real mechanisms behind its biology: how it pollinates, how it moves, who it partners with, what it eats, what eats it, how it survives fire or salt or altitude. Find out where each plant lives using iNaturalist range button map. 25 Botanical Challenges. Hours of learning— a field botany education disguised as a collection game. Unlock challenge categories by guessing the plants that belong, find all the plants that use buzz pollination, or plants that move, or ones toxic enough to kill you. The Aeolians: wind-pollinated species. The Chemists: plants that deploy allelopathy and phytohormone mimicry. The Grifters: flowers that deceive pollinators with no reward. The Flame Outs: species whose seeds require literal wildfire to germinate. The list goes on. Each category is its own short course in plant biology. Each unlocked challenge offers a reward card Plant of the Day — a different wildflower every day, drawn from the full catalog. THE BOTANY IS REAL The oracle readings are written in the voice of a psycho-botanist who reads your card selected from the test. The botanical notes describe actual mechanisms — buzz pollination, myrmecochory, cleistogamy, karrikin response — in language that doesn't require a glossary but rewards curiosity. Every plant in this catalog has been selected and described with taxonomic accuracy. The metaphors earn their place. More 400 wildflowers. 25 botanical challenge categories. 22 Major Arcana tarot cards as rewards. One question per round.

Minimum iOS version lowered to 15.0, opening the app to a wider range of devices. CATALOG ADDITIONS Six new species: Northern Bayberry, Lingonberry, Cinnamon Fern, Grass Pink, Rose Pogonia, and Small Cranberry — bringing the total to 403 North American wildflowers. NEW CHALLENGE CATEGORIES Three new challenges added to the collection: Movers and Shakers — 21 plants across five touch-triggered movement mechanisms: stigma snap, stamen blanket, pollen pump, seismonastic leaf folding, and carnivorous tentacle curl. No nervous system. No muscle tissue. Just turgor pressure, released at exactly the right moment. The Clones — 59 plants running six distinct strategies for reproduction without a sexual partner: seed cloners practicing apomixis, obligate vegetative steriles, rhizomatous spreaders, stoloniferous creepers, thicket builders, and bulb splitters. The Undead — 60 geophytes that traded root architecture for underground storage organs, outsourcing their entire mineral nutrition to the AMF fungal network. The bulb is the battery. The fungus is the gut. The Cooperators challenge now includes The Freelancers as a second sub-challenge: 13 plants running non-standard fungal contracts — Ericoid Mycorrhizal bog specialists, dual EcM network users, and four Monotropoid ghost plants stealing carbon from the forest without contributing anything. GARDEN COMPLETION Players who collect all 403 species now reach a dedicated completion screen.
