Keep watering and it grows — sprout, sapling, young tree — until, after about a year of reading, it turns to a tree of gold. Then you plant the next seed beside it. GOLD APPLES Every 7 days of reading grows a gold apple, and it stays on the tree. Your fruit is the record of the days you showed up — you never lose it. MISS A DAY, KEEP YOUR TREES Miss one day and it's forgiven. Miss two in a row and your streak resets and the tree you're growing weakens — but a finished tree is golden forever, and one reading starts the new one growing again. A STREAK THAT MEANS SOMETHING Forgot to check off a reading? You can still fix today, yesterday, or the day before. Older days are now locked, so your streak stays an honest record of what actually happened. Your whole reading history counts toward your first tree — if you've been reading a while, you may already have one waiting.
