NWT Reading provides a Bible reading schedule for the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures, specifically for Jehovah's Witnesses. • Supports reading the Bible in all available languages of the complete New World Translation, including sign languages. • Scriptures open in the JW Library® app. • Tracks your reading progress and shows the number of days you are ahead or behind schedule. • Offers several reading plans: canonical, in the order the Bible books were written, and chronologically, as the events took place. • Allows you to select the reading speed or read without a specific end date. • Highlights dates with key events in the chronological plan. • Shows locations mentioned in each section and where to find them in the brochure “See the Good Land.” • Use multiple Bible reading plans in parallel. • Enjoy a dark mode theme for a more comfortable reading experience. • NWT Reading is open source! Absolutely love this app! Love the hyperlink to JW Library and timelines. As a suggestion, Psalm 119 was likely written by Hezekiah when he was a prince. It might be a good idea to place it higher in the chronological order. Also, Psalm 44 was likely written in the days of King Hezekiah and should likely be placed later the chronological order. And Psalm 7 is likely regarding Shimei’s words to David, occurring later in the record. Not a criticism at all, just a suggestion. Thanks so much!

I love this app but ever since the update, it has made my Bible reading scheduled reading more difficult. I have been reading the Bible from cover to cover every year for the past 14 years. This is my first time using the app. I start with Genesis 1:1 on January 1st every year. When the app was updated, my target date got moved. This is because I am a little ahead of schedule. Now I had to turn off the target date because it was showing that my new target date was earlier than December 31st. I get a little ahead in order to compensate for times that I may not get to it daily. I would like it if you could allow the user to set a target date. There are many in my congregation using this app and now they are all calling me upset because they are experiencing the same issues as I do. Sincerely, M Dumais

I understand how important it is to maintain your Bible reading schedule, especially after 14 years of dedication.As the app is now open source, I welcome contributions from the community. If you or someone else is able to add this feature, I would be happy to accept a pull request.In the meantime, here is a workaround that might help:1. Note down your current progress.2. Reset the end date in the plan settings.3. Adjust the number of days to match your expected end date.4. Reset the end date again and update your progress accordingly.I hope this helps until I can provide an option to manually set the target date. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

This app had been very helpful for reading the Bible in one year. But this new revision is even better. I like the chronological reading. In this app revision, I like that I can start a specific day’s reading even if I don’t have time to finish it all. I can just check off the parts I did finish. Very nice!

I’ve been using this app for years. Sometimes it got confusing when it was time to start over, but I always figured it out. So when I saw the update I was glad, I thought it would make it easier. But it’s more confusing than ever. And no dates. Did you know that today is the 195th day of the year? I sure don’t keep track of my life this way. This app is useless for me now.Oh, and there is no app support. Try the link. If anyone knows how to uninstall this update, let me know.
