This app is awful and effectively ruined my coffee machine. When you go to log in to the new app, it requires you to change your password, during the password change the “continue” button is disabled, it doesn’t work, so now I’m unable to use the app until, I figure a way past that screen and can change my password. It’s pretty discouraging. This machine has been working great for the last 3 years. Now it’s a manual machine. You can’t go back to the old app, so now I have an expensive manual coffee machine with no access to its features. Did anyone even test setting this up on their iPhone with a migrated machine?

The initial setup caused the first wave of 1 star reviews because there was issues getting logged in. Now that I am logged in I really miss the original app. I never even had to think about if it was going to work. So many bugs now, constant disconnections, unable to brew because it thinks the machine isn’t warmed up (when it clearly is) drinks not saving, machine edits have about a 50/50 chance of saving. For how nice the TK-02 coffee machine is, the app really makes it a frustrating machine. Once again none of these issues existed prior to release of 2.0 app. Please bring back the original app!

The 2.0 app is obviously rushed and has many bugs. Within a few minutes of using the new app:1. I forgot my password so I expected a prompt to help me reset it. Nope… just told me to try a different email. I was able to use the old app to create a new password.2. 2.0 app keeps asking me if I would like to use the machine Americano setting or app setting. I select the machine setting and minutes late is asks the Sam question again3. The whole reason I had to download the new app was to get the clock to update. (Annoying) I have the new app now and the clock still is not updating.

The new update for 2.0 on the Terra Kaffe TK 02 doesn’t no longer allow you to set the clock. The clock automatically defaults to 12 AM. When you try to change it, it says that since the Wi-Fi is on, it will automatically connect through the Wi-Fi to collect the time yet it is unable to. When you turn off the Wi-Fi, then you can change the clock time but you can’t save it so everything keeps defaulting to 12 AMVery frustrating
- Changing a drink's espresso profile now actually changes what your machine brews — before, the app showed the profile you picked while the TK-02 kept using its starter profile.
- Deleting a drink or espresso profile now removes it from your machine, instead of leaving it there to reappear later.
- Removing drinks no longer slowly uses up your machine's recipe slots, so "there's no room left" saves should stop happening.
- Your Drip Carafe can be set from 1/4 to Full again, and the pre-ground warning now brews the size it told you it would.
- Adding a machine that's registered to another account now offers to move it to yours, instead of failing with an error that could never be resolved.
- Machine Settings → Network now finds your Wi-Fi networks on a machine that's already online, instead of failing straight away.
- Picking a Wi-Fi network no longer risks sending your machine a blank password.
- Turning off your Auto Wake schedule now clears it everywhere, so support sees the same thing you do.
