The biggest Connect update yet. Private chats, a smarter ConnectAI, Shorts that fill the screen, and an app that runs cooler on your phone. PRIVATE CHATS, FOR REAL Your chats are now end-to-end encrypted. Messages, photos, voice notes and files are locked on your phone, and only the people in the chat can open them. Look for "End-to-end encrypted" under the message bar: it turns on once everyone in the chat has updated. WRITE BY VOICE Hold the mic in any chat and just talk: your words land in the message box, ready to send. Tap "Transcription" under a voice note to read it instead. CONNECTAI Tap the mic and speak, in French, English or both. Your recent chats are saved privately on your phone, so you can pick one up later. Studying law? Answers now come from France's official legal sources. SHORTS AND LEARN Shorts fill the screen and open faster, mixed across your interests. Subtitles always show, and some videos come dubbed in your language. In Learn, tap "Suggest me a video" and pick a mood. YOUR ALGORITHM, YOUR RULES See less of a topic, keep heavy subjects away, or switch to a lighter feed for a while. It's all in "My algorithm". GO OUT On Explore, say you're out, wave at people nearby and make plans together. ALSO NEW • Débat du jour: one debate a day, the same for everyone • My pass: your member card with your QR code • Pick and search your own chat reactions • Pinch to zoom on profile photos, hold a post to peek at it • Deleted posts disappear instantly, everywhere • Shake your phone to report a problem • Lighter on your battery: less work in the background, so your phone stays cooler

Connect 1.0.3 is our biggest update yet. SHARE THE SONGS YOU LOVE Post a track with a vibe and print it your way: flight, pass, ticket or receipt. Friends hear a 30-second preview in the feed or in chat. A NEW WAY TO POST A rebuilt composer that starts with your words. Add up to 6 photos, a song, a place or people, with instant cropping. Leave halfway and your text waits for you as a draft. MY SPACE A calm planner for your day, week and month, with reminders, check-ins, a live countdown on your Lock Screen, the weather and a morning message. Your games and Tide, the breathing exercise, now live here too. STUDIES Tell Connect what you study. Your feed, Learn and Ask Connect adapt to it, and you choose whether it shows on your profile. Find it in Settings or right from your profile. LAW A new Law interest with nine topics. Ask Connect now points law questions to the official texts on Légifrance and can show the sources behind each answer. SHARE YOUR PROFILE ANYWHERE Your QR code and the new Share link work for friends who don't have Connect yet: they land on a page that takes them straight to the App Store. A FRESH LOOK A new glass design across the app, dark mode (plus light, or match your phone), colours that adapt to what's on screen, smoother screens and lighter loading. MORE PRIVATE Details you hide on your profile (birth date, hometown, city, country) are now stored where only you can see them, and your location is only ever shown through the moods you choose to share. ALSO NEW • Videos in your feed play silently as you scroll • Swipe between the tabs on any profile • Clearer debate votes: your pick is always marked • One clear way of showing time, everywhere • Search finds people by their full name • Friendlier messages when something goes wrong • Full French throughout • Many fixes and performance improvements Thanks for being here. Connect. For real.
