Begin with the Norse Codex and discover Moonleaf, Sunspire, Wildwood, and Gloamthorn as you progress. Each Codex brings its own visual identity, decorative script, and collectible artwork.
MAKE EVERY MESSAGE YOUR OWN
Choose available Relics and Seals to give your encoded message a distinctive appearance. Explore your collection in the Vault and earn more presentation options through ordinary use. Encoding and decoding are not locked behind cosmetic progression.
SHARE SECRETS YOUR WAY
Create named ciphers for different friends or adventures. Share a cipher privately by invitation, QR code, or file. Send message artwork and encrypted rune text through Messages, or use supported file-sharing destinations for a Rune Scribe message package.

Messages are encrypted on your device with Apple's CryptoKit AES-256-GCM. Keep a local cipher library, organize it with optional Contacts access, and add an optional four-digit App Lock PIN. No Raven Forge account. No advertising or tracking.
A JOURNEY THAT STAYS OPTIONAL
Enjoy local achievements and collectible rewards. Optional private iCloud sync mirrors progression, not your messages or cipher keys. Optional Game Center reporting shares achievement progress. Core encoding and decoding work without either service.
MADE FOR IPHONE, IPAD, AND MAC
Create, encode, and decode with native interfaces across your Apple devices. In-app QR scanning is available on iPhone and iPad.
Important: a shared cipher contains the key needed to read and create messages with that cipher. Share it privately and only with people you trust. Recipients need Rune Scribe and the matching cipher to decode. Ordinary message artwork is not a tappable decryption link; recipients can copy the accompanying rune text into Rune Scribe. The decorative scripts are not historical-language translations.

Discover the Norse, Moonleaf, Sunspire, Wildwood, and Gloamthorn Codices, with distinctive scripts, Relics, and Seals. Follow your local Journey, view achievements, and collect presentation options in the Vault.
Personalize your message artwork before sharing. Messages on iPhone, iPad, and Mac now receives artwork and encrypted rune text without an extra message-file attachment. Other supported file-sharing destinations keep the encrypted Rune Scribe message package.
Cipher invitations remain separate from message sharing, so you choose when to share a cipher key. The first-use Manage Ciphers prompt now includes Skip, letting you continue without importing contacts.
Private iCloud progression sync and Game Center achievement reporting remain optional. Message contents and cipher keys are not included in progression sync.
