Igła i Rowek is a local-first vinyl listening journal for people who care about records, turntables and analogue gear. Choose a record, select the audio chain and stylus, start the timer, and the app keeps a listening history while counting real hours on the exact stylus you used.
Main features:
- keep a local record collection on your device,
- add and edit records manually,
- optionally import a collection from Discogs,
- use Now Playing with quick start, timer and backdated starts,
- edit listening history, including time, notes, rating, record and audio chain,
- keep gear passports for turntables, cartridges, styluses, amplifiers and speakers,
- track stylus usage from real listening sessions,
- review listening and gear statistics,
- use Marek's Workshop for record, stylus and setup care checklists,
- set a local reminder to start the listening journal,
- export and safely restore a JSON backup.
The app works without an account, ads or tracking. Core collection, gear and listening data stays on device. Discogs and vinyl recognition are optional, and the microphone is used only when you manually start recognition.
