This release is a top-to-bottom accuracy and reliability update to the neurofeedback engine. ELECTRODE CONTACT • Contact is now measured directly from the headband and shown in kΩ for each electrode, instead of being estimated. • The setup screen names the two electrodes your protocol actually trains and shows each one's reading, so you can see what is holding a session up. • Resistance is re-measured automatically while the electrodes settle, with a countdown to the next check and a button to check immediately. If it stays high while your live signal is clean, the session goes ahead with a notice rather than leaving you on the setup screen. • New "Re-check contact" button — reseat a lead and re-measure without disconnecting. • A lifted or disconnected electrode is now detected in under a second. The trace flattens, the meter names the electrode, and scoring pauses instead of showing a stale number. TRAINING ACCURACY • Every session begins with a 45-second personal baseline, shown as an on-screen countdown. Training starts when it finishes. • Reward is measured against your own baseline rather than a fixed threshold, and a baseline that disagrees with your current session is discarded rather than carried forward. • Beta Down now trains in the correct direction and has its own scoring. • Beta Down is no longer suggested for attention-related profiles; those are directed to SMR training. • Blinks, movement, muscle tension and poor signal now pause reward and the feedback instead of counting toward your time in target. LIVE EEG DISPLAY • The frequency readout and the waveform always agree. • Added a Low Beta (15–17 Hz) band, previously shown as High Beta. • Alpha now displays correctly on eyes-closed protocols. • Smoother meter, screen dimming and volume — noticeably less flicker. SESSION GUIDANCE • The WaveMind coach explains the baseline at the start of every session — in full the first time you run a protocol, briefly after that — and speaks the cue aloud on eyes-closed protocols. • Removed the end-of-session questionnaire. MEDIA • Podcasts are organized by show. • Audiobooks: fixed a title that would not play, and every book in the library has been re-verified to stream. • Long books now list all of their chapters instead of stopping at 25. • "Change" during an audiobook session lists your other books and swaps between them without ending the session. • Audio interrupted mid-session — by a coach cue, a phone interruption, or a chapter change — now resumes on its own. • On eyes-closed sessions the audio controls stay visible and are no longer dimmed by the feedback. GAMES & BRAIN TRAINING • Mind Tree now follows the protocol you are training. On the eyes-closed alpha protocols it reads the back-of-head sites instead of always reading the temples. • The tree no longer withers while the session is rewarding you — growth matches what the training engine is actually paying out. • Mind Tree's growth follows the same smoothed, artifact-gated focus signal as the meter, so it pauses during a blink or movement instead of reacting to it. • A false "no contact" reading no longer blocks you from reaching Games and Brain Training. FOR CLINICIANS • Videos can be added by URL with the title filled in automatically, assigned to a category or podcast show, and removed.
