CurbMerge helps nearby drivers coordinate the moment a legal public curb parking space is about to become available.
When you are preparing to leave a lawful public street parking space, CurbMerge lets you share that opportunity with nearby drivers. A nearby driver can claim the handoff, navigate toward the location, and complete the exchange using a simple spot code.
CurbMerge does not reserve, sell, own, assign, control, or guarantee parking. Public parking remains subject to posted signs, local laws, traffic conditions, and availability when a driver arrives.
HOW IT WORKS
• Share your spot
Let nearby drivers know when you expect to leave your current lawful public curb space.
• Confirm when it is open
When you have safely vacated the space, confirm that the opportunity is available.
• Coordinate with a nearby driver
A nearby driver can claim the handoff and navigate toward the location.
• Complete the handoff
Once parked, the Receiver completes the handoff using the five-character spot code.
• Build reliability
Successful handoffs contribute to your personal Promises Kept and reliability metrics.
• See the community impact
CurbMerge displays estimated time, fuel, and emissions savings associated with completed community handoffs.
SAFETY FIRST
Do not interact with CurbMerge while driving. Pull over and park safely before viewing, offering, claiming, or completing a handoff.
CurbMerge uses precise location only while the app is actively in use for location-dependent features. It does not require continuous background location access.
CurbMerge is an informational coordination platform. It does not create ownership, priority, reservation rights, or entitlement to any public parking space.
