Importing your music is the heart of this update. Collect a folder and it just works: tracks appear in your Collection as they land, the import sheet stays open until you choose to leave, and covers show up right. Your shelf stays steady on a slow load and browses smoothly. Calmer, and more dependable where it counts.

Untagged, badly-named files finally have a home. Uki now identifies more of what you import, automatically. Loose, mislabeled MP3s get sorted out using filenames, folder structure, Apple’s music catalog, and (with a quick heads-up first) audio recognition for files with no tags at all. Tag reading is also better across the board, including FLAC, OGG, and WAV, not just MP3 and M4A. Importing is cleaner too: • Tracks with good embedded tags go to a quick “does this look right” check, tap to fix anything. • Tracks with nothing usable collect as-is instead of forcing you to tag them on the spot. • Choose Lossless or Lossy before you import. • Multi-disc albums (like a 2-CD set) now land as one shelf entry with the right art and a continuous tracklist, not two broken halves. New: every song has a Behind the Music sheet: lyrics, credits (songwriters, producers, personnel), and background, without interrupting what’s playing. Also fixed: album covers disappearing from the grid, edits to imported albums not saving, removing an imported album not working, large FLAC imports hanging, a phantom copyright warning on deleted tracks, and the keyboard covering text fields in a couple of screens. Plus real haptic feedback, smoother transitions, and calmer animations throughout.

Vinyl and cassette you collect on iPhone now sound full and true. The thin, phone-call quality some tracks used to carry is gone. Hear something you can’t place? Tap Listen and Uki names the track on the spot, right on your iPhone. Open Uki and your podcast or playlist keeps right on playing. No more silent interruption. Import accepts any audio file you own. Lossless converts to FLAC on your phone before it uploads, so a lossless file stays lossless, and the per-file limit is now 2 GB. A gentler first run. Pick your look, claim your shelf, choose where your library lives. Each tab introduces itself the first time you open it. Plus: imported tracks play right away and appear on your shelf as they land, cover art for untagged files, a metadata editor for one-off tracks, and marks for saving points in time inside a long set.
