Your school list now sorts itself. Campus visits sit at the top, then the programs actually talking to you, then everyone else — alphabetically inside each group. No more scrolling to work out where things stand. Auto-replies no longer count as real interest. When a program sends the automatic "we can't talk to recruits yet" reply, it's labelled as one instead of moving that school into In Conversation. Your reply count and your follow-up reminders now reflect real coaches only. Athletes outside the US. You can now enter your home country instead of being forced to pick a US state, so coaches see where you're actually from. Two athletes, two sports. Adding a second athlete to a family account now asks which sport they play, so a baseball brother and a softball sister each get the right coach database. More reachable coaches. We rebuilt how the coach database checks itself and recovered hundreds of verified coach email addresses.

What's New in This Update Camps, on the calendar you already use We spent the last stretch reading camp pages at college programs across the country, and the results are now on your Recruiting Schedule. Nearly 500 camps at 259 of the schools players here are targeting — dates, cost, age groups and a link straight to the school's own page. Dates a school printed and dates we had to assume never look the same. Anything we inferred carries a ~ and a standing reminder to confirm with the school before you book a weekend. Stepping Stone: a fourth tier in Build My List Reach, Target and Safety all describe where you could go now. Stepping Stone describes how you get somewhere later. It is junior colleges only, and where a program has a documented record of sending players on, the card says which conferences. Two years at a junior college has become one of the main routes into the programs at the top of your list. You play every day instead of redshirting, it costs a fraction, and four-year coaches recruit hardest from players with college numbers. Scholarships, explained honestly A new Playbook chapter on what each division can actually offer — and it is not what most families expect. Baseball splits 11.7 scholarships across a 35-man roster; softball splits 12. A partial offer is the normal outcome, not a lesser one. It covers D2, D3, NAIA and NJCAA, the 2025 roster-limit changes, and the four questions worth asking before accepting anything. For softball Home to 1B replaces the 60-yard dash everywhere on the softball side. That is the number fastpitch coaches actually ask for, and it is now what your projection is built on. Pitchers get a proper arsenal: velocity and spin for the fastball, drop, screwball, rise ball, curveball and changeup. No slider, because that is not a fastpitch pitch. Your downloadable resume also stopped calling itself a baseball document, and college softball coaches can now filter recruits by home to 1B. Your Spotlight tracks the metrics softball actually recruits on — home-to-first, exit velocity, bat speed, pitching velocity — scored against softball benchmarks, and your school list draws on coach contacts at more than 1,400 college softball programs. The recruiting rules follow your sport. Softball's Division I contact date is September 1 of junior year, and the Playbook, the Recruiting Timeline, and the FAQ all answer for the sport you play — the right dates, the right showcase circuit, and the way softball families actually talk about select and travel ball. Two notes on the text as written: - I used plain "resume" rather than "résumé" — App Store Connect handles the accent fine, but it's a common source of encoding mismatch across the various places this copy gets pasted. Add the accents if you prefer them. - The date in the file says "submitted 2026-07-31"; if you submit today I'll correct it to 08-01 in the same PR.
