The Living Scroll — the biggest update yet. INK FAMILIARS — what you defeat, you draw. Creatures of your own ink follow you for the run: the Crane dives where your last slash pointed, the Koi rides every stroke you draw, the Lantern slows all that enters its light, the Tiger pounces on your storms. Kills feed them, tier by tier; a fallen guardian evolves them. THE DESCENT HAS CHAPTERS — the Endless Scroll now changes what the page does, not only how it looks. The ink spreads, the old script surfaces, the page cracks, and at the bottom it eclipses. Each chapter borrows a guardian's power as a permanent rule. Seal guardians rise every three minutes. TECHNIQUES — gesture evolutions (Crescent, Execution and Crimson Slash, Forked Storm) and hidden combos found only by doing (Moon Cutter, Blade Trance, Coiling Dragon). THE BRUSH IS YOUR CHARACTER — four brushes with their own passives, and a brush that earns marks as the run goes on. HANDWRITING IS THE BUILD — a fast slash is Lightning, a slow one Deliberate; a tiny circle lays a Trap, a huge one a Sanctuary. THE PAGE FIGHTS BACK — lean on one stroke and the Scroll answers with creatures built to resist it. Two new seal guardians: the Scribe and the Silence. Also: a new title page with a proper menu, sharper enemy and brush art, generative music, a Wind brush whose dash cuts, and a suggestion box in Settings — tell us what would make Inkfall better.

The Guardians Update — the page fights back. • Two bespoke guardians close the later scrolls: The Moon Devourer spreads darkness you must cut open, and The Vermilion King turns the page itself against you. • Three ink-born foes join the tide: the drinker steals your fallen ink, the knot only parts along its grain, the censor blots out the page until you cut it free. • New brush form: FANG — draw a V and it snaps shut, a jaw of ink. • Your brush now leans into every stroke. • A living music layer answers your combos with rising plucked notes. • Hand-inked enemies, ink drips, and a hundred small touches of polish.
