• The Apple Watch app is rebuilt. Your next event, your House’s place in the Cup, checking in and Owl Post now carry the same Roots look as your phone, sized to read at a glance on your wrist. • On iPad the app finally uses the whole screen: a side rail to move around, and the Great Hall, Family, Club and Schedule redrawn for it. • Coaches on iPad get courtside tools — an order of play for a tournament, live scoring, and roll call for a House.

• The Great Hall now shows the House Cup board and the club’s newest photos, so the front page has your House on it. • The House Cup table shows every House’s crest. • Every icon in the app is Roots’ own — the tab bar and every gold medallion share one hand-drawn set. • Screens with nothing on them yet now say what will fill them. • Schedule: a club-wide session shows once in Upcoming, not once per House, and rows name the venue instead of the street address.

The photo gallery, fixed — and a new Club tab. • The Club tab is redesigned: your House’s crest and House Cup standing up top, the four things you open most as tiles, and everything else grouped by what you’re doing. • Tapping an album now opens that album. It could previously open a different one. • Album covers and photo tiles frame the person properly instead of cutting off the top of their head. • Photos no longer overlap each other in album grids. • Photos load far faster, and large albums no longer run the app out of memory. • Every menu in the app — Family, Settings, Safety, the Coaching Hub — now shares the Club tab’s look.

• The Tournaments list starts with what is coming up soonest and works outward. • Away tournaments now show the ones your athlete’s House is actually playing, with the date and venue. • Mute any Owl Post chat — long-press it, or use the switch in Thread info. You stay in the chat; you just aren’t notified. • Coaches: your House’s chats now sit pinned at the top of Owl Post. • Signing out now stops that account’s notifications on this phone.

• The Tournaments list starts with what is coming up soonest and works outward. • Away tournaments now show the ones your athlete’s House is actually playing, with the date and venue.

• Paperwork finished by one guardian now shows complete for everyone attached to that athlete — a second parent no longer has to sign the same documents again. • The Club screen stops warning about paperwork your family has already done.

• Changing your payment card works. The Change card button used to lead nowhere. • A game shows LIVE only once YouTube is actually taking the feed, so nobody is sent to an empty stream. • Live games carry a scoreboard in the corner of the video, built to stay readable on a phone. • Go Live asks which camera is filming, and the viewfinder turns with the phone. • Match scores are entered set by set, and the winner comes from the sets rather than being chosen separately. • Pool standings match the website and the bracket exactly — before, each could show the same pool in a different order. • Teams appear in their pool from the moment the draw is made, rather than only after they have played. • A tie the tournament director still has to settle is marked, instead of being ordered silently. • Impossible scores are refused, and a start time that could not be read no longer shows as “Invalid Date”. • A guardian with athletes on two Houses can see both. • Messages reconnect properly after a phone drops signal. • iPad: the sidebar matches your role, and the recorder and Go Live open there. • iPad, held upright: the home screen is one clear column instead of three cramped ones — Up Next, your stats and what’s coming all read properly again.

• Tapping a notification now reliably opens what it announced — including Owl Post messages. • Fitness sessions now appear under the Practice filter and in every calendar view. • Up Next always names the actual next event, and finished events step aside. • Sign out and Settings are available for every account type. • Check-in and billing reliability improvements.

A fix for the House Cup. • Your House's place in the Cup now reads the same everywhere — Home, your team's page and the House Cup screen agreed on the score but not always on the rank. • The Cup is scored per athlete, so a bigger House can't win on size alone. Every screen now uses that same board.

Hotel Blocks, in the app at last. • Find every club room block under Family — the hotel, the dates, and the one date that matters: book by. • Tap a trip for the office's notes and a straight line to the hotel's booking page, so your room lands inside the team block. • When the office opens a block, your phone tells you — and the booking deadline lands on the club calendar. • Fixed: tapping a travel notification could trap you on that trip's screen when you pulled to refresh.

A coach's app, and a tidier Great Hall. • Coaches get a home of their own — My House, their schedule, their travel, and timesheets, one tap apart on their own tab bar. • House pages now show athlete photos with jersey numbers, and your coaches' own photos. • A decree you've already read tidies itself into the archive — Home stays about what's new. • Small fixes and polish.

Tap the link. Reach the Headmaster. • Links in chats, messages, and decrees are now tappable — film, tickets, schedules, all one tap away. • Starting a new message now shows the Headmaster's Office pinned at the top, so any family can reach club leadership directly. • Small fixes and polish.

Live tournament scores, and the coach's eye in writing. • Tournament brackets are now live — when the desk posts a score, it appears on your screen where you stand. No refreshing courtside. • Skills assessments — coaches grade eight skills, serving through coachability, on a named 1–5 scale with comments. Published assessments appear on the athlete's My Career, with arrows showing growth since the last one. • The training stats chart now covers every stat on record — tap to flip between approach jump, height, max speed and more, each in its own units. • A redesigned Apple Watch app — cleaner sign-in, check-in, scores and House standings. • Small fixes and polish.

Check-in reliability. • Fixes an issue where check-in could fail to include your location even with location access allowed. If a check-in ever tells you location is off for Roots, it now takes you straight to the right Settings switch. • Apple Watch check-in now includes your location too. • Coach travel itineraries can now include trains.

Check-in works on the first try. • Fixed a bug where the very first check-in after allowing location access could fail. • If a check-in can’t go through, the app now tells you exactly why — including a direct link to turn Location back on for Roots if it’s off. • The Check In button now appears and disappears exactly when check-in is actually open. • Small fixes and polish throughout.
