SwearBy is a living map of places people swear by. Follow bartenders, chefs, and the friends who always know the spot. Their picks appear on your map with the context that matters: date night, first date, late night, group hang.
Nothing here can be bought. No ads. No sponsored placement. No pay-to-rank. Structurally impossible — not just against the rules. When someone vouches for a place on SwearBy, it's because they'd stake their name on it.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Follow tastemakers — verified industry pros and trusted friends
• See the city through their eyes: green pins wear the faces of your people
• Open any spot to see who vouches for it, and when it shines
• Vouch for the places that earn your name — 30 seconds, four tags, one note
• Build lists: date-night rotations, out-of-towner weekends, whiskey bars
• Share lists publicly, by private link, or keep them yours
• Your inner circle sees the ask-for-Marco depth you don't publish
• One Friday push. That's it. Your phone stays yours.
SwearBy is rolling out one city at a time. Recommendations can't be bought — that's the whole point.
Bring your lists with you. Paste your spots from anywhere — or open your Google Maps export right from Files — and they land on your map as a list, notes and all. Vouch for the ones that earned it whenever you're ready.
Your map, your circle: make your profile private and approve each follower before they see your vouches. And when you vouch, the camera's right there — snap the moment or pick from your library.
Also: suggested tastemakers now step aside the moment you follow them. Plus the usual polish.
