Ras – Live Events

Addis Ababa comes alive after dark — ethio-jazz sets, gallery openings in Bole, open mics, rooftop DJs, azmari nights that go until the lights come on. The problem was never that nothing is happening. It's that everything happens by word of mouth.
Ras puts your city's nights in one place
DISCOVER WHAT'S ON
Real events with real posters, updated through the week. See what's starting soon, what's popular, and what's near you — from jazz bars in Kazanchis to warehouse parties past Megenagna.
DIRECTIONS THAT MAKE SENSE HERE
Nobody in Addis navigates by street numbers. Ras shows you the landmark the host actually wrote — "behind Alem Cinema, 2nd floor" — plus a map pin for your ride.
SAVE IT, PLAN YOUR WEEK
Tap save on anything that looks good. Your Scene tab gathers your saved events, tickets, and hosted nights on one calendar, so Friday plans itself.
RSVP AND WALK IN WITH A QR
Free community events take RSVPs right in the app — your ticket is a QR code the host scans at the door. Events sold elsewhere link straight to the official seller. No fake tickets, no confusion.
HOST YOUR OWN
Throwing a listening session, an exhibition, a house party? Publish it in minutes, share it, and scan your guests in at the door.
BUILT FOR ETHIOPIA
Starting with Addis Ababa — Dire Dawa, Bahir Dar, Hawassa, Adama, Mekelle, and Gondar are on the way.
Ras means "head" — where the city's culture comes together. Whether you're chasing ethio-jazz, contemporary art, or just somewhere to be on a Thursday night, it starts here.
see you out there.
