Skills - Calisthenics video AI
Private Calisthenics Skill Lab
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Your progress is in small changes: a longer handstand hold, a cleaner L-sit, a stronger pull-up rhythm, or one more controlled rep.
Skills helps you see the progress.
Import a training video and Skills analyzes it directly on your phone. It detects calisthenics skills, shows your movement with a clean skeleton overlay, measures the key result, and saves the attempt into your skill history.
No remote AI processing. No cloud upload. Your videos stay on your device by default.
Analyze your own attempts
--
Skills is built for calisthenics practitioners who already record their training and want more than a camera roll full of clips.
Use it to analyze skills such as
- handstands
- muscle-ups
- pull-ups
- push-ups
- dips
- pistol squats
- handstand push-ups
- levers
- human flags
- inverted rows
- L-sits
- pike push-ups
- planches
Depending on the movement, Skills focuses on the metric that matters:
- hold duration for static skills
- rep count for repetition-based skills
- detected skill segments in the video
- confidence and clear visual evidence
See what happened
--
Each analysis gives you a focused view of the attempt:
- original video preview
- skeleton overlay
- detected skill
- rep count or hold time
- analysis confidence
- saved result in your skill history
The goal is simple: make your training videos measurable.
Track progress over time
--
One video can be useful. A history of attempts is where progress becomes visible.
Skills organizes analyzed videos by skill, so you can return to your previous attempts, compare results, and see whether your training is moving in the right direction.
Track your latest attempt, best attempt, previous results, and long-term changes without relying only on memory or feeling.
Private by design
--
Calisthenics videos are personal. Skills is designed with privacy at the center:
- video analysis runs locally on your phone
- your videos stay on your device by default
- local AI does not process your videos online, ever
- you stay in control of what you save, keep, or delete
Built for skill development
--
Skills is not a workout planner, fitness network, or video editor.
It is a focused calisthenics skill lab for people who want to understand their own attempts, measure progress, and build a clear record of improvement.
Import a video. Analyze the skill. Save the result. See your progress.
Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
New video selection now focuses on the 13 skills with release-ready measurements, including Pistol Squats, Push Ups, and Human Flag. Existing saved history for skills still in development remains available.
Your private video library is more resilient. Skills can rebuild missing entries from intact videos and saved analyses, preserve interrupted work so you can finish it, and show clear preparation, loading, cancellation, error, and retry states. Videos without a supported skill remain available in a sortable Other history.
Analysis now measures supported and suspended L-Sit holds when pose detail is sufficient, uses more accurate Back Lever hold boundaries, better rejects failed handstand attempts, and improves detection and final-count timing for long Push Ups sets.
Results are easier to review with play/replay controls, clearer per-skill breakdowns for videos containing multiple skills, and more continuous pose overlays in previews and exports. Achievement cards now explain how to unlock them or how they were earned, including current records and history. Adaptive one- and two-pane layouts make better use of iPad screens in portrait and landscape.
Completed analyses can recover from an interrupted final library update without repeating video analysis, and optional place lookup failures no longer block video preparation.
Video analysis can now run faster by using on-device graphics acceleration. If graphics processing is unavailable or fails, Skills automatically restarts the analysis using a compatible processing path.
This update introduces optional paid features. Skills remains free to download, and all video analysis, history, achievements, and watermarked exports remain free: Skills Founding Member is an optional one-time purchase that permanently unlocks watermark-free exports. You can remove one watermark for free before deciding and restore a previous purchase at any time.
