Will planes be loud today? PlaneNoise predicts Heathrow's runway direction before you step outside. Personalised alerts, widgets, and live radar confirmation.
Living under Heathrow's flight path? Some days the planes are directly overhead and relentless; other days they're landing from the opposite direction and you barely hear a thing. The difference comes down to one thing: wind direction, which decides which runway is in use.
PlaneNoise turns that into a simple, at-a-glance forecast.
WHAT IT DOES
• Predicts whether Heathrow is running easterly (09) or westerly (27) operations, hour by hour, for the days ahead
• Translates that into a plain "noisy or quiet" call for where you actually live
• Shows a confidence level for each day so you know how firm the prediction is
• Live "now" status so you can check the current situation at a glance
BUILT FOR YOUR LOCATION
Tell the app roughly where you are, and it works out which side of the runway you're on, so the noisy/quiet call matches your home rather than a generic average. Location is used only to personalise your forecast. It is never used to track you, and precise location is processed on your device.
HOME SCREEN WIDGETS
