Sound Walk builds routes again, the noise check has a new look, and the whole app got a careful going-over. • The noise check now shows the room as rings spreading from the center, in the color of the level, with the reading underneath • Venue pages lead with the verdict and show when a place was last rated • Rating a place is simpler: one list of answers, the questions at the top, and your answers are kept while you fetch your sign-in code • Take a noise reading and add it straight to your rating • Places you save with the heart have their own list on your profile • "Crystal clear" now means a score of 4.5 or higher, to match what raters chose • Clearer VoiceOver, better support for larger text, and easier-to-read buttons throughout

Small touches. • Rating a place is one tap: the wizard now lists the venues closest to you. • A venue's score sits beside its name again. • Sections with nothing to show say so in one line instead of an empty card. • The launch screen and the mark inside the app match the new icon. • Screens you return to draw their bar correctly on the first frame.

A fresh coat for iOS 27. • New app icon that matches the rest of your home screen. • Every screen has a proper back button and larger titles. • Buttons at the bottom of a page now float over your content and step aside for the keyboard. • The map's search bar is one tidy row. Filters live behind the new Filter button. • Dark mode map is much easier to read. • Dark mode and Send feedback moved into Profile. • If you have Reduce Transparency or Increase Contrast turned on, the app respects it everywhere. • Map tiles load reliably again, and a rare crash when opening the list with location finding you is fixed. • Small haptic taps where you'd expect them.

Venue pages now open with the answer you came for: how many visitors could hear the person they were with. • The noise check now tells you how steady a room is, not just how loud. A steady room can be tuned out; one that swings around can't. • Quick Rate is one screen: three questions, about thirty seconds. • New in Profile: reduce motion in the app, honored everywhere. • Map filters now use the same words as the venues: Crystal clear and Comfortable. One line, swipe for more. • Plainer wording and better screen reader support across the app.

Tap a pin, and the place comes to you. • Tapping a venue opens a card over the live map — score, distance, best seat — so you can weigh up two places without leaving the map • The map moves like a map: pinch zoom no longer snaps when you let go, and a flick carries • Swiping through the welcome screens follows your finger instead of jumping • Coming back from a venue returns you to the map you left, at the zoom you left it • Every control answers to a press now, and screens push and pop the way iOS does

Sharper sound science, a map that keeps up with you, and a good deal more polish. • Noise readings are now A-weighted and energy-averaged — the way sound meters and acoustic standards actually measure a room. A venue’s number means more than it did. • The map loads venues wherever you’re looking. Pan to another neighbourhood, or another city, and it fills in. • Map pins no longer overlap. Score bubbles that used to stack into an unreadable pile now keep their distance, and anything that won’t fit is counted so you know to zoom in. • The noise check is alive before you start it — the ring breathes quietly at rest instead of sitting there as a flat circle. • The 10-second rating now works for places not yet in Quiet Spaces. Rate one and it’s added to the map. • After a quick rating you can add where you sat and how it sounded — or skip it. Both help. • Badges show how close you are to earning the next one, instead of only locked or unlocked. • Clearer venue pages: full names for each time of day, and the venue title no longer appears twice. • Fixed an error when opening a rating for a venue that wasn’t in the app yet.

Small fixes to keep things calm: filter chips now wrap tidily instead of running off the screen, and the map always opens cleanly with the search bar right where it belongs.
