Also in this update • Bug fixes and performance improvements.

New: Recreational Sites on the map • A new Rec tab shows 27 recreation sites, provincial parks and municipal parks across the region, from Kager Lake and Seeley Lake to Kleanza Creek and Bear Glacier. • Search for recreation sites by name or description from the map's search panel. • Tap any site to see its details and photos, and fly straight to it on the map.

Take your trails off the grid • Downloaded trails: Pro members can save any trail with its details, photos and satellite imagery, ready for when there's no signal. Downloaded trails always show on the map, whatever filters you have on. • Your map, offline: as a Pro member, the areas you browse while online are kept on your phone, so they still show in full satellite detail on the trail. • Smarter downloads: downloads retry automatically if the connection drops, and older downloads refresh themselves when you're on Wi-Fi. • New Downloaded trails screen: see how much storage your maps use, clear cached map layers to free up space, and choose whether to download on Wi-Fi only. • New location arrow: your position now shows which way you're facing, and follows your direction of travel as you walk. Improvements • Trail photos load from your phone when you're offline. • Shop and other xploresmithers.com pages now open in your browser. • Bug fixes and performance improvements.

Explore by town • New "By town" button on the map — tap a town to highlight its trails and zoom to them • Filter the map by town under All Filters • New Explore by Town page in More, with trails, tours and businesses for each community • Tapping "Open the full screen map" on a town page now opens the app map with that town selected
