• iPhone Duo, meet NoodleIt: open it wide for the full display, or half open like a photo book, with a picture on each page. • Your favorite photos (the heart in Photos) now lead covers, “On This Day” and Moments. • The “On This Day” widget now shows a new memory every day.

• The “On This Day” widget no longer stays blank on some iPhones.

• “For You” now opens on Moments: your trips, weekends, days out and celebrations, named after where they happened and grouped by year. • The “On This Day” widget keeps its photos on tinted and clear Home Screens, and with iOS 27 comes in a new tall size. • With iOS 27, search also finds the captions and keywords you add in Photos. • With iOS 27, Siri and Shortcuts can send photos to NoodleIt: “Show these in NoodleIt”. • On iPad, drag collections into your own order (iOS 27), and type your PIN on a keyboard.

Small improvements.

• Collections now sync through iCloud with room to grow: every collection has its own space, so large libraries sync too. • Your collections and settings follow you: photos appear on every device, and a collection deleted on one is gone from all. • One scan finds the countries, cities and neighborhoods in “For You” — switching between them is instant, and the scan keeps going while the list is open. • Scenes finds your Group Photos, Babies, Selfies, and Portraits, and you can put the categories in your own order. • Accessibility updates: clearer text and support for the largest text sizes.

• Updates in “For You” improve how neighboring countries are separated, so a trip across a border shows every country you visited. • Photo tiles hold still when you open the app or switch tabs. • Add up to 5,000 photos to a collection in one go. • Tested and ready for iOS 27.
