A clearer App Store page: new screenshots and a description that says what the app actually does. The app itself is unchanged from 1.0.6 — the free export has had no watermark since that release, and the page now says so.

Free exports no longer carry a watermark over your footage — the film is clean from the first frame to the last. New: dedicate your film to someone. Type a name, and it appears in the final frame, before anything else.

GPS mode is now a real recap. The track you walked is drawn into the film, survives stop edits, and comes back with the draft. Honest distance. Routes finish downloading before the number appears, so the total in the film matches what you saw on screen. Cleaner geo captions. The street sits on the route line and never mixes alphabets. Long films render more reliably: a stalled segment is rewritten instead of failing the whole export.

Big update — new ways to build a recap, and a smarter map. • Memory map — every place you've ever photographed, on one map. Tap a cluster to turn it into a recap. • Estimated route — the line between your stops now follows real roads, with a transport icon travelling along it. • GPS mode — record a walk or a hike live and turn the track into a recap. • Split for Stories — cut a finished recap into 59-second parts. • 15 music tracks — five for every mood, plus your own audio from Files. • Redesigned home screen: calmer header, photo activity, trip suggestions. • Pick any date range in the calendar when the trip you want is outside the suggested periods. • Faster, steadier rendering and a long list of fixes.

Faster first recap. Photos are picked before they're downloaded from iCloud, so the wait is minutes shorter — and your first video now runs about a minute instead of twenty seconds. Clearer editing. Stops are a numbered route: tap to edit, drag to reorder, swipe to remove. Every photo shows when and where it was taken. One red button at the bottom — that's the one that renders. Better trip picks. A compact 3–10 day vacation now ranks above a month-long pile of photos. Still fully on-device. Nothing leaves your phone.
