This update adds a manually editable calorie goal for users who want to set their own daily target instead of the auto-calculated value, found in Edit Profile. We also improved the AI food scanner's text input with clearer, outlined text boxes, made creating custom meals easier with full food search instead of a limited recent-items list, and changed progress indicators.

This update makes food logging simpler. Calorie and macro targets now default to a Balanced split. The Log Food button now lets you choose which meal you're logging (breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snack) instead of guessing based on the time of day.

Logging food is now simpler: tap Log Food and choose to scan with your camera, describe your meal in text, or search and scan a barcode. We added a full walkthrough for new users covering how Vitra works, your profile setup, and your dashboard. Water tracking now defaults to ounces, with an easy switch to millilitres in Settings. Calorie labels are now shown simply as "Calories" throughout the app. We also fixed a bug preventing some new accounts from seeing onboarding, and made AI text-based meal scans faster.

This update makes Sign in with Apple and Google clearer and easier to use, adds a free 1-week trial for Vitra Pro, and lets you start tracking instantly as a guest without creating an account (you can add one anytime to sync across devices), plus general bug fixes and performance improvements.
