What's New in TerraMarker 1.1 Cleaner maps • Markers now shrink as you zoom out and turn into small dots when you're far away, so nearby pins no longer pile on top of each other. • Marker labels move around to avoid overlapping, and hide when there isn't room. • Fences and other dashed lines now show dashed on the map, not just on printed maps. Never lose a track • Tracks you record are saved as you go. If the app closes mid-recording, you can resume, save, or discard the track the next time you open it. • Tracks always save to the map you started them on, even if you open a different map before stopping. • A recording banner on the home screen shows your track's progress and takes you straight back to it. Better offline maps • Choose how much detail to download: Standard, High, or Max, with an estimated download size for each. • Sharper offline imagery when you're zoomed in close. • The "Offline" badge now only appears when a map is fully downloaded. Location improvements • "Point at My Location" now waits for a GPS fix instead of doing nothing, and lets you know if it can't get one. • If location access is turned off, TerraMarker tells you and takes you to Settings to fix it. Easier editing • Enter marker coordinates in decimal or degrees/minutes/seconds, whichever format you use, with a warning if something's mistyped. • You'll be asked before discarding a line or shape you're drawing. • Swiping away a new marker's editor now removes the marker, just like Cancel. • Setting a map area always captures exactly the area inside the box. Also new • Smoother panning on maps with lots of markers and long tracks. • The app now lets you know when an update is available. • See your app version and credits at the bottom of Settings. • Refreshed app logo throughout the app. • Fixed place search when a search contains certain symbols.
