Load up your cannon and get ready, soldier! SOLDIER ONE is a fixed-shooter throwback built in the spirit of classic Commodore 64 arcade games — chunky pixel graphics, punchy sound, and the kind of "one more try" difficulty that made 8-bit gaming legendary.
Fight your way through 7 escalating levels, from a coastal naval battle to a final beachhead assault against a small army of enemy soldiers.
BATTLE AT SEA
Man a fixed cannon and take aim at waves of enemy boats sailing in from both sides of the screen. Time your shots, manage your ammo, and keep your power bar out of the red as enemy fire rains down.
STORM THE COAST
As the campaign continues, face down enemy shore batteries and gun emplacements in a tense standoff of cannon versus cannon.
FIGHT ON THE BEACH
The battle moves to land. Trade your cannon for a rifle and face waves of enemy soldiers — riflemen who return fire, and grenadiers who lob explosives your way. Watch your flanks: some enemies never fight alone.
THE FINAL STAND
In the climactic 7th level, hold the line against ten enemy soldiers — nine riflemen and a dangerous grenadier — in an all-out final battle for the win.
