KHEPRI SIX WENT DARK SEVENTEEN DAYS AGO. You are Employee #426223. Your assignment is artefact retrieval: three Anchors, from a research station orbiting the Nadir Black Hole. The facility was studying biological specimens recovered from around it. Command considers a xeno-specimen outbreak the most probable cause of the blackout. Expect hostile xenobiological contact. Failure to retrieve the Anchors will result in immediate termination. Xeno Drift is a survival horror roguelike built for short, tense runs. Ten to fifteen minutes to the bottom of the station, or to whatever finds you first. DESCEND Three sectors, twenty-five rooms in the first and fewer in each one after. The station lays itself out differently every run, and the only way to learn a room is to open it. CHOOSE Thirty-four events, each a decision with consequences you can read before you commit and cannot take back after. Supplies, corpses, rooms that should not exist. FIGHT Twenty-three creatures, each carrying a mutation that changes how the fight works. Bulletproof things that ignore your weapon. Kleptophilic things that take your equipment. Ravenous things that destroy your ammunition. Working out what a creature is doing to you is most of surviving it. BREAK DOWN Terror, Despair and Psychosis fill up separately from your health. Fill any one of them and the run ends, whatever your health says. There are two ways to survive Khepri Six and four ways to die on it. BUILT FOR PHONES This is a portrait game, rebuilt for a phone rather than squeezed onto one. No virtual stick, no reflexes, no rotating the device. It is turn-based, so it waits for you: put it down mid-run and pick it up later. NO STRINGS ATTACHED Free. No advertising. No in-app purchases. No accounts. No analytics. No network permission, because the game never makes a connection. Xeno Drift was created by Ion Klamp and released for desktop on itch.io. This is the mobile port, by Granata.
