Maitora: Private AI Meditation

Mindfulness, Sleep & Breathing

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

No account, no ads, nothing collected — there is no server to collect it. Every practice is free to use and works offline; Pro only lifts the limits. A calm home for your mind. Maitora brings the practices that steady a day into one quiet app — breathwork, meditation, guided sits, sleep stories, affirmations, a gratitude journal, and your own personal mind movie. No feed, no streak-shaming, no noise. Just the practice you need, when you need it. EVERY PRACTICE, INCLUDED • Breathwork — resonant, box and other paced patterns, with a gentle orb to follow • Meditation — silent or with bells, from two minutes to open-ended, saved as your own presets • Guided meditation — over a hundred hand-written sits across calm, focus, body scan, self-kindness • Sleep stories — over two hundred drowsy narratives that fade to silence, including four themes written for children • Affirmations — read or spoken aloud, from your own deck or written for the moment you're in • Gratitude journal — a daily question, photos, dictation, and a Face ID lock if you want one • Routines — chain a few practices into one flow and start them with a single tap • Mind movie — turn your own photos or a video into a visualisation, with music, affirmations and a kaleidoscope opening IT LEARNS WHAT ACTUALLY HELPS YOU Tap how you feel when a session ends and Maitora quietly notices which practice leaves you best — then leads with it tomorrow. Your rhythm, your patterns, and the tone of your journal, all worked out on the device. MITRA, YOUR COMPANION On devices with Apple Intelligence, Mitra is a gentle friend you can talk to. Tell it how you're arriving and it listens first, then offers a practice only when one genuinely fits — and it can write a meditation, a sleep story or a set of affirmations for exactly what you're carrying. Those devices also open a ninth practice, Turnaround: name the worry that's sitting on you and it comes back as something you can breathe with — five paired breaths, one line to draw in, one to let go. Not a therapist. Never a diagnosis. Every word stays on your device. BUILT FOR PRIVACY, NOT AROUND IT No account. No sign-up. No analytics, no trackers, no ads. Your journal, your photos, your sessions and your conversations are yours — they never reach a server of ours, because there isn't one. Turn on Backup Sync and they travel between your own devices through your own iCloud, and nowhere else. FITS THE REST OF YOUR DAY • iPhone and iPad, each laid out for its own screen — on iPad your day opens across the whole canvas, in any orientation, and reflows in Split View or a resized window • Logs Mindful Minutes to Apple Health, and your mood to State of Mind, if you let it • Home screen and Lock Screen widgets, plus a Live Activity while you practise • Apple Watch — mirror any session on your wrist, or breathe with the phone left behind • Siri, Shortcuts and Control Center to start a practice hands-free • A warm natural narration voice, built in — no download, and it works with no signal at all • Backup Sync — your practice, your journal and your setup in step across your devices MAITORA PRO Every practice is free to use. Pro lifts the limits: unlimited mind movies and routines, the full soundscape library, your own music or Apple Music as a background, every breath pattern, photos in your journal, advanced insights, and sending your practice to your other devices with Backup Sync. • Monthly — $7.99 • Yearly — $39.99, with a 7-day free trial • Lifetime — $99.99, a one-time purchase, shareable with your family Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Your voice, your footage, your practice — and now a way to hand it to someone. • Try Maitora without installing it — scan a code and you land straight in the practice: a three-minute guided breath, or a five-minute sit that closes on a bell. No account, no setup, nothing recorded. • Personal Voice — Maitora can read your practices in your own recorded voice, if you have one set up on your iPhone. Nothing leaves the device. • Gratitude you can speak or film — record a voice note of any length, add a video from your library or the camera, and save an entry with no typing at all. • Voice notes now draw their own waveform, so you can see the length and scrub through one. • Mind movies can mix photos and video clips. A clip plays for its own length, and you choose whether the movie plays its own sound, the background music, both, or neither. • Write me a meditation about… — type any topic and get a guided sit built around it. • Each breath pattern now keeps its own length, background sound and closing bell, so tuning 4-7-8 as a wind-down no longer rewrites your morning reset. • Today now tells you which practice tends to lift you most. • Longer guided sits and sleep stories are paced properly — no more long silences in a 30-minute sit. Fixes • Tapping a reminder now opens the practice it named. • The widget and the Apple Watch use Maitora's own colour instead of system blue. • A free trial is only offered to members who can still use one. • The yearly plan shows its per-month price and what you save. • Turnaround listens to the worry you actually wrote — and if you name something about your body, it no longer hands those same words back as something to breathe out. It won't fob you off with a bare "I am calm" either. • A movie's video sound no longer echoes, and clips play smoothly. • Routine meditation steps ring their preset's repeat bell, and 4 AM is morning again. • Evenings are quieter — from nine at night the main suggestion is already a sleep story, so the wind-down card that repeated it has gone. • A few decorative icons on Today and the end-of-session summary no longer interrupt VoiceOver.
