Apple Weather does the forecast. Shorts vs Pants weighs temperature, wind, humidity, sky, sun position, rain, activity and how you feel the cold to tell you what to wear.

Open it and you get one clear answer: shorts or pants, T-shirt or jumper, umbrella or not. No graphs to read, no percentages to translate, just the bit you actually wanted to know.
YOUR FIT, BEFORE YOU OPEN THE APP
Shorts vs Pants Pro puts your recommendation on your Home Screen and Lock Screen. Choose Your Fit, Fit Check, hourly or daily forecasts, plus focused outfit, temperature and umbrella Lock Screen widgets. They update automatically with the weather, subject to iOS scheduling.
The main recommendation in the app remains free. Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription at the price shown by Apple before purchase. The annual plan includes a seven-day introductory trial when Apple says you are eligible. A monthly plan without a trial is also available. Manage or cancel in your Apple Account settings.
SUNNY DOESN'T MEAN SHORTS
Temperature, wind and humidity shape the feels like reading. Then it checks the sky and the sun's position: high, low or down. The same 20 degree reading can tip to shorts in clear afternoon sun and pants after sunset.
STANDING STILL IS NOT RUNNING
Pick what you're up to: Everyday, Walk, Run, Golf, Tennis or Spectating sport. A run warms you up and standing on a sideline does the opposite, so the answer moves with it.
NEVER GET CAUGHT IN THE RAIN
If rain's coming while you're out, it says take the umbrella. If it isn't worth carrying, it says that too.
SET IT TO SUIT YOU
Always cold? Always in shorts? Tell it once and every answer leans your way from then on, including the hours ahead.
LATER TODAY, AND THE REST OF THE WEEK
Check the next few hours, the morning, the afternoon or the evening. The hourly forecast puts an outfit against every hour, so you can spot the hour your outfit changes, and the days ahead let you plan before you leave.
YOUR PLACE, OR ANY PLACE
Use your location while the app is open, or search for a city or suburb instead. The places you use stay easy to flick between, in Celsius or Fahrenheit, whichever you think in.
