A letter arrives. Albert needs your help finding his missing son, Gabriel. As an archaeologist, you have the expertise required to decipher the clues left behind. But when you arrive, the mystery deepens: Albert is missing, too.
Albert, Ingrid, and Gabriel were a family of scientists who spent years isolated in an abandoned castle, researching the near-magical crystals hidden within its walls. Driven by ambition rather than caution, Albert constructed a machine with power far beyond their control. It was a harsh reminder that some inventions are better left unmade.
Welcome to Fragment Zero: The Escape, a new chapter in the Legacy universe. It is built as a complete, standalone experience, meaning no prior knowledge of the previous Legacy games is required to play.
What to Expect
• A Standalone Story: A complete mystery for both new and returning players.
• Explore the Castle: Search rooms, find items, and unlock doors to move forward.
• Puzzles: Every room is packed with puzzles and riddles. Never repeating but instead unique for each location.
• In-Game Camera: Take photos of clues and save them in your journal so you don’t have to memorize them.

Any time I see this developer made a new game it’s an automatic purchase and has been since the 2nd The legacy game. Just like The Room, House of Da Vinci , Myst, Meridian 157, or any great room escape series you just know the developers is gonna deliver. Also even tho this is the 6th game in the series, so The legacy 1-4, TheLegacy:Reawakening, and now Fragment zero, they have all maintained a unique varied feel and good level of complexity to the puzzle mechanics, plus a fair amount of puzzles and so have 100% been worth the $. I’ve seen some sources say they take around 2-4 hrs but I find it takes me more like 6-8 hrs or maybe a bit more for later games as each iteration gets more complex and adds all new types of puzzle mechanics. Which I really have always enjoyed how these games push you to constantly think outside the box instead of just reusing the same mechanics over and over
Another great one!

This developer once again has created an interesting, challenging, and fun game. Intriguing environments, clever puzzles, wonderful atmospheric sounds and music, it's all here. I thought this one was more difficult than the others, but the hint system is perfect. If you just want a little nudge for something you can't get past, or a little more help. Loved the camera, and the photos can take you back to that spot. The map can also take you to places, and shows you what you've finished, or need to complete. Personally I don't use the transport feature as I like to walk from place to place, that's a challenge I enjoy. Thank you for another enjoyable game!
Great as usual

This might be David’s best game so far. Maybe not quite as long as some of the others, but had a much more rational flow. I didn’t feel lost or overwhelmed with a maze of rooms/map locations. You are kinda shepherded into the area you are supposed to be in for the stage in the game you have reached and you know it. So, you’re not constantly wondering if you’re missing something from earlier in the game. It makes his puzzles much more fun to figure out when you know where the answers are confined. It was great, I was hoping I wasn’t finished when the credits rolled, but sounds like there will be a sequel somewhere down the line.
Another winner from a fantastic dev

So excited to get another game from this dev. He builds worlds that are fun to look at and explore, full but not cluttered. His puzzles are challenging and clever, meaning you are always thinking without going on auto-pilot completing tasks. Love the soundscape as well. This game has more story than the others, which was a little surprising and made it feel a bit more House of DaVinci and a little less archeological-explorer than his other games. It’s also not as long. The hint system is exceptional, doling out bits at a time so you aren’t just giving up by looking at a hint. The puzzles are very fair, although the lever/piston solution did not make sense to me (how to know when and whether to go clockwise or counterclockwise?) and the logic behind the final location puzzle also escaped me. But these are minor issues for such a great game. Looking forward to the sequel!
