Show a QR code and the whole room runs the same intervals together. Turn up late, scan, and your phone drops you exactly where everyone else is. Build an interval workout, then run it with everyone in the room. Kuramo is an interval timer for runners. You build a routine out of phases: a warm-up, then cycles of hard and easy repeated as many times as you like, then a cool-down. During the run one ring sweeps the interval you are in, and a bell tells you what you just entered without you looking: two strikes for a hard interval, one for easy or rest. RUN IT TOGETHER, WITH NOTHING IN BETWEEN Tap host, choose how long until the start, and show the code. Everyone scans it and every phone runs the same session from the same instant. There is no account, no server and no internet involved. The QR code carries the entire workout and the exact moment it begins, so each phone works out the current interval from its own clock and nothing needs to pass between them ever again. It works in a basement gym with no signal. Someone scanning two minutes late is not behind. They land on the interval everybody else is in, with the right time remaining. BUILT FOR SOMEONE RUNNING A CLASS Nobody can pause a shared session or steer it off course. Once it starts it runs, the way a class does. Pick how long until the start, from thirty seconds to ten minutes, so people have time to get on a treadmill. The screen tells you when the session ends before you commit to it. PIN A NOTE TO ONE EXACT REPETITION Add a short cue to a single repetition and it takes the label under the ring when its moment comes, buzzes, and is read aloud if you want it spoken. Cues travel inside the code, so everyone who joined gets them too. IT KEEPS RUNNING Bells, cues and haptics keep firing with the phone pocketed and the screen locked. Back out to the routine list and a bar keeps the run going at the bottom of the screen. YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR PHONE Nothing is uploaded, because there is nowhere to upload it to. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no third-party code of any kind. Your routines are a file on your device. A workout leaves your phone only inside a code you choose to show someone.

Kuramo keeps your runs now. WHAT THE RUN WAS The finish screen says what you just did: the efforts you got through, and the time you actually spent running rather than the length of the workout on paper. WHEN YOU LAST RAN IT Every routine on the home screen carries the day you last ran it, so the list tells you something about you and not only about the workouts. EVERY RUN, KEPT History lives in Settings: each run newest first, with its efforts and its time. One you stopped part way through is kept and says so, because a session you bailed out of still happened. NOTHING LEAVES YOUR PHONE The log is a file on your device, exactly like your routines. There is still nowhere to upload it to.
