Tell Stacks what each exam covers. It offers the next lectures every day and, from your own pace, the day you will be through. The hours you record become one stone.
Stacks is a study timer that turns the hours you record into one stone.
Every session you finish becomes a layer. The newest hour sits on top at full size; the layers under it compress and darken, the way sediment does. Nothing you record is removed, and there is no streak to keep alive.
RECORDING
Start the timer and work. The time is measured from the moment you began, not by an app that has to stay awake, so it keeps counting when you leave Stacks, lock the phone, or close the app. While a session runs it sits on your Lock Screen as a Live Activity, and you can pause it from there.
When you stop, you place the hour yourself: press and hold until the layer settles. Nothing is added for you.
If you forget to start the timer, you can write the hour in by hand, and correct one that ran too long.
READING
- The week as solid columns, one colour per subject
- The term subject by subject, with the hours each one took
- The stone itself: drag a finger down it and each layer names its own hours

KEEPING
- A goal for each subject, and an exam date with the days left

There is no account, no advertising, no analytics and nothing social. Your hours stay on your device, and in your own iCloud if you turn sync on.
