Bobbychips: Baby Tracker
Feeding, sleep & growth charts
Free
It learns your baby's rhythm, and shows its work. After two weeks of logs it offers the number your days actually run on, and it asks first unless you say otherwise.
Evidence, not instinct. Bobbychips is a baby tracker that learns your baby's rhythm and shows its work. It starts at a due date if the baby is not here yet.
Log a feed, a nap or a diaper and the rest of the day re-projects around it. When a late bottle leaves no room for a full nap, it offers the longest cat nap that still protects bedtime, and names the bottle that did it.
HOW THE SCHEDULE IS BUILT
You set the parameters: wake window, nap length, bottles a day, first feed, bedtime, seeded from WHO and CDC age bands. You can see the day they describe, and how today ran against it.
Within the day it moves with you. Each night it reads the last two weeks, and when a number has genuinely moved it offers the new one with the day count behind it. Nothing changes until you tap, unless you switch on the option to let it keep up.
The countdown on your screen and the reminder on your phone come from the same code, so they cannot disagree. Reminders are optional: one heads up, one follow up, nothing after.
WHAT YOU CAN LOG
Bottle feeds, nursing on either side, pumping and output, naps, overnight sleep, wet diapers, poops, solids and medicines. One tap, editable, undoable, offline.
Or say one sentence: four ounces at two and a poopy diaper right after becomes both rows, recognized on your phone and shown to you first. Siri logs and answers too, no shortcut to build, and an Apple Watch app installs with the iPhone app and does both from your wrist.
A Live Activity and a home screen widget count down to the next feed without opening the app.
THE NUMBERS
Growth is plotted on the WHO and CDC growth charts with exact LMS z score math, not read off a curve. Corrected age for babies born early is a toggle. Printable, to take to a check up.
Patterns only appear when the data supports them. A card needs seven complete logged days and a correlation of 0.45 or better, and it prints the correlation, the day count and the size of the difference. It says every time that an association is not cause and effect.
Weekly reports, trend charts and a Monday recap. Changing a goal never re-grades past days. Export as CSV.
IF THE BABY IS NOT HERE YET
Start from a due date: a countdown, the week you are in, and 39 weekly guides, weeks 4 through 42, sourced to CDC, ACOG, WHO and MotherToBaby.
Add a prenatal visit and you are reminded the evening before and again 90 minutes ahead, the questions box filled from every guide since your last one. Kick counting and a contraction timer from week 28, and nothing asks whether you counted.
At the birth it is one button, nothing is re-entered, and the due date stays: it is what corrects the age afterward.
WHAT IT WILL NOT DO
It will not tell you your baby is behind. No ranking, no score against other babies, no percentile framed as a problem.
It has no opinion about sleep training and no program to join.
It does not read from Apple Health, a wearable, or a smart bassinet. Every number came from something a person logged, and none of it is read by a model.
It does not sell your data, share it for advertising, or carry third party analytics or ad trackers.
FOR EVERYONE CARING FOR THEM
Share a baby with a partner, grandparent or nanny by invite link. Everyone sees one timeline; removing someone ends their access. More than one baby per account. Daycare mode does not score you on hours you could not log, and each baby has its own timezone, so travel does not scramble history.
WHO BUILT IT
One father on paternity leave who could not hold a newborn's schedule in his head. Used every day of that leave and rewritten wherever it failed. BOBBYCHIPS LLC is a Tennessee company; the app is US only and your data is stored in the United States.
Try it: bobbychips.com has a full read only demo, no account.
Bobbychips gives you general information from your own logs. It is not medical advice and does not diagnose anything. For anything concerning, talk to your pediatrician or prenatal provider.

Bobbychips now reads the last two weeks of your own logs. Each night it compares what actually happened to the plan you set, and when a number has genuinely moved it offers the new one with the evidence in the sentence: on 11 of the last 14 days they stayed awake about 2h 20m between sleeps, and your plan says 2h 00m.
It asks first. One suggestion at a time, never a stream of them, anything you accept undoes in one tap, and the setting keeps a line saying when it moved and what it was before. If you would rather it kept up on its own, there is a switch for that. It is off unless you turn it on, it moves only the wake window and the nap length, and it says what it changed.
It will not offer to move your bedtime, and it never touches your goals. A bedtime drifting later is usually the thing you are trying to fix rather than a new plan to settle for.
No model reads any of this. It is median arithmetic over your own logs, worked out on your phone, so it runs with no signal and can print every figure it used.
The History tab has a new Rhythm card: your plan beside the last 14 days, field by field, with the number of days behind each one and how much they varied.
And when the last nap has been skipped or cut short for most of two weeks, Bobbychips says so and opens the guided step-down, instead of waiting for you to suspect it yourself.
Log by saying it. Write or dictate one sentence the way you would say it out loud, four ounces at two and a poopy diaper right after, and it becomes both rows. It reads the sentence on your own phone, and shows you the rows to check before anything is saved.
Bring your history with you. Export a CSV from Huckleberry and Bobbychips carries the whole thing across: bottles and ounces, nursing sides, naps, overnight sleep, diapers, solids and every growth measurement. The file is read on your own device, and importing the same file twice cannot double a day.
Bottles are no longer numbered anywhere. A row reads Bottle, the way a nap row reads Nap, so an extra bottle no longer renumbers the rest of the day.
Fixed: for a baby born early, the milestone emails were arriving on the calendar date instead of the corrected one.
