WHO SPRIG IS FOR - Freelancers, sole traders, gig workers, 1099 contractors and side-hustlers who need income, deductible expenses, invoices and a mileage log in one tax summary. - Small businesses that want simple books without heavyweight accounting software. - Individuals who want a private expense tracker and budget planner, not a bank-linked money app. WHAT SPRIG DOES - Today: safe-to-spend, a spent-vs-budget ring and one-tap Expense, Income or Transfer. - Back Tap Quick Entry: double-tap the back of your iPhone to open the entry sheet from anywhere; one tap on Add to Siri sets it up. - Ledger: every entry in one income and expense ledger; swipe to edit or delete. - Reports: totals by day, week, month, year or a custom range, split by category. - Wallets: cash, bank and card accounts, each with its own balance and currency. - Budgets: monthly caps per category with progress you can read at a glance. - Recurring: rules that post rent, subscriptions and other repeat expenses when due. - Invoices: client, number, due date and amount; mark paid and the income posts itself; overdue ones are flagged. - Mileage log: trips by date, purpose and distance; business trips at your rate become a vehicle deduction. - Tax summary: income, deductible expenses and the mileage deduction for any period, with an estimated taxable figure. - Receipts: photograph a receipt and keep it with your books; add an amount and category and it becomes a ledger entry, photo attached. - Export: CSV through the share sheet, ready for a spreadsheet or your accountant. - Backup: a passphrase-encrypted backup file in Files or iCloud Drive; restore it on a new iPhone. - Books: separate personal and business books, each with its own wallets and entries. - App lock: Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode. - 12 languages, from Spanish and German to Indonesian and Turkish. SPRIG PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTION Sprig Premium is an auto-renewing subscription with a term of one year. The price is shown in the app in your local currency before you buy. Sprig 1.1 adds amounts with decimals, fixes Back Tap setup, makes scrolling smoother and makes several everyday actions reliable again. AMOUNTS WITH DECIMALS - Enter paisa, cents or fils: 12.50 is saved as 12.50, not rounded to 13. - The amount keypad now has a decimal point on every screen: new entries, edits, monthly limit, invoices, receipts and wallet balances. - Whole amounts look exactly as before; decimals appear only when you use them. CSV exports include them. - Your existing entries, balances and budgets carry over unchanged. BACK TAP QUICK ENTRY NOW SETS UP CORRECTLY - Tap Configure Back Tap, then Add to Siri. The phrase is already filled in; nothing to record. - New Quick Expense shortcut: opens straight on the amount keypad. Type the amount first, then tap the category or wallet chip to change it. - Fixed a crash when tapping Configure Back Tap. SMOOTHER SCROLLING - Lists respond sooner and scroll more smoothly. - On ProMotion iPhones, lists now run at 120Hz. RELIABILITY - Face ID unlock, photo and receipt picking, file import and export, and sharing sometimes did nothing after you confirmed. Fixed. PRIVACY CHOICES - Free plan: where GDPR applies, Sprig asks for your consent before showing ads. Change or withdraw that choice at any time in More > Ad privacy options. - A short explainer now appears before iOS asks for tracking permission, so you know what the choice means.
