The recipient sees exactly what you sent, opens it in their own Thought Recorder, and can reply with comments. You'll see when they've viewed it. TRANSCRIBE ON-DEVICE Enhanced transcription runs entirely on your device — no audio ever leaves it. Powered by state-of-the-art open models compiled to Apple Neural Engine. Prefer cloud accuracy? Bring your own OpenAI Whisper or AssemblyAI key — your audio goes directly to your account, billed to you, never through us. AssemblyAI adds automatic speaker labeling. Version 1.2 — category polish, Apple Watch quality-of-life, and a safer, cleaner backup story. CATEGORIES • Color-code your categories — red, green, yellow, blue or purple. Pills tint everywhere: home list, detail views, and even your Apple Watch picker. • New sort toggle in Settings → Appearance: Manual or Alphabetical. Flipping back to Manual restores the order you set. • Recent categories are now per-device — your iPhone's recents don't push your Mac's around, and vice versa. • Edit mode now has Batch Tag: select several items and apply a category to all of them at once. APPLE WATCH • Picker pills now carry the same color as the phone. • Collapses to your top recents with a "More…" button when you have a long list. • Category order mirrors the sort choice from your phone. • Fresh GPS fix on every recording — no more stale locations. RECORDING • Discard button right after a recording — on iPhone, Mac and Apple Watch — with a confirmation so nothing's lost by accident. COMMENTS • Item owner can delete anyone's comments on their own recordings and notes. • Hide a specific comment, or hide every comment from a particular person. Changed your mind? Tap "N hidden — show" at the bottom of the thread to bring them back. BACKUP • iCloud: fixed a bug that could delete Apple Watch recordings during routine pruning. • iCloud: Mac and iPad now reliably fetch Watch recordings even when the audio format differs from the metadata. • Google Drive: new "Consolidate duplicate folders" action tidies up if a disconnect/reconnect ever left doubles. • Google Drive: Reset now wipes every duplicate backup folder in one tap, not just the first.
