Start with local tools, saved work and exports without purchasing. New installs receive a limited, nonrenewing allowance for supported online AI work. Ongoing online use uses the included online allowance. Usage figures are estimates; the amount of work available varies by request.
Personal CRMs like Dex cost around $12 a month and ask you to maintain a database of your friends. Most people stop within a fortnight, because keeping records on people you love feels like the opposite of the thing.

NOTHING TO FILL IN
No fields, no tags, no last-contacted column to keep current. You mention things as they happen, in a sentence, and that is the whole input. An app you have to feed is an app you will abandon.
IT ONLY SPEAKS UP WHEN THERE'S A REASON
A promise you made and have not kept. A date they mentioned that is coming up. A gap that has gone past what that particular friendship carries — because a fortnight is long for one person and nothing at all for another. What it will never do is invent a reason. There is no "you haven't messaged Sam in 30 days" nudge, because that is how you end up sending a message that reads like it came from software.
