New in 1.4 Import from the app you're leaving. Choose Import Snippets from the ⋯ (iPhone: Library) menu and pick a file exported from TextExpander, Raycast or Alfred, or your text replacements exported from a Mac. Titles and abbreviations come across, their fill-ins become Fingertips fill-ins, anything already in your library is not added twice, and each import is tagged with the app it came from. Undo takes the whole import back.

New in 1.3 Bundles. Select several snippets, such as a cover note, a PDF and your signature, and make them one bundle. Copy it and all of it goes at once, or step through it one item at a time, in the app or from the Fingertips keyboard. Bundles have a shelf of their own. Formatted snippets. Bold, italics and links are kept and paste formatted wherever formatting is accepted. Remove Formatting makes a snippet plain again. The keyboard still types plain text. Tips. Settings has a new Tips screen that explains every feature in a line or two. Siri, put right. Copying a snippet with Siri brings Fingertips to the front, because iOS only lets the app in front write to the clipboard. The 1.2 notes described that as what happens when a copy fails. It is how every Siri copy works. Fixed - If you bought Fingertips and reinstall it, or bought it on another device, you are no longer shown "Your trial has ended". - Ask to Buy and other purchases waiting for approval no longer say the App Store is unreachable. - Picking a shelf in the keyboard no longer deletes text you had typed, and keyboard search is much faster. - Moving a snippet to the Trash, pinning it or changing its folder now reaches the keyboard, widgets and Spotlight straight away. - Save Clipboard in Control Center now saves images and formatted text. - The QR Code button no longer appears for text too long to fit in a code. - Every piece of text in the app is translated into all twelve of its languages.

Built with the iOS 27 and iPadOS 27 SDK. Fingertips still runs on iOS 26. SIRI COPIES A SNIPPET BY NAME Say "Copy my signature from Fingertips" and it is on your clipboard, with a card showing exactly what was copied. Requires iOS 27. ASK YOUR OWN LIBRARY Ask a question and get an answer drawn from the snippets you saved, worked out on your device. Requires iOS 27 and Apple Intelligence. FIND A PICTURE BY WHAT IS IN IT Saved images are described on your device, so the screenshot from weeks ago turns up when you search for what you remember seeing. Requires Apple Intelligence, and nothing is uploaded. SYNC YOU CAN ACTUALLY CHECK The iCloud screen now says in one line whether sync is working, instead of leaving four values for you to interpret. It also shows an iCloud ID, so you can tell at a glance whether two of your devices are on the same account. Both of these came out of a support conversation where the app knew the answer and would not say it. FIXED The keyboard's Full Access message appeared in English in every language, naming Settings menus that do not exist outside English. It is translated now, with each language's own path. Around forty other pieces of text were English everywhere. All eleven languages are complete again. Siri could report a copy it had not made. It now copies, or opens the app and says why it could not. Contact Support attaches your sync details, which the app had been claiming it already did.
