813 places across 16 cities, checked one at a time. Kosher kitchens with the certifying body named. Shabbat times, mikvaot, shuls and walks — all of it works offline. B'Aeretz is a travel companion for observant visitors to Israel, built around the questions you actually ask: is this kitchen certified and by whom, what time does Shabbat come in here, where is the nearest mikveh, and can I still get there before everything shuts. It works with no signal. Everything is on the phone — the whole of the Old City with the reception it deserves, a plane, the Judean desert. WHAT IS IN IT • 366 places to see, from the Kotel to Makhtesh Ramon • 221 kosher kitchens, with the certifying body named where it is published • 143 hotels, marked mehadrin where the hotel itself says so • 36 shuls and minyanim, with nusach • 9 mikvaot — address and telephone, deliberately no opening hours • 68 guided walks that read each stop aloud as you reach it • 16 cities: Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Haifa, Tiberias, Safed, Eilat and more SHABBAT AND CHAG Candle lighting and havdalah for wherever you are standing, not for a city you are not in. Yom tov dates are bundled into the app through 2028, so a chag is recognised with no connection. Nothing is listed as open on Shabbat unless it genuinely is, and a reminder will never fire once Shabbat has begun. KASHRUT, HONESTLY Certification is reported as the certifying bodies publish it, and the app says which body — Rabbanut, Mehadrin, Badatz, Tzohar — rather than a badge that means nothing. Where a kitchen's supervision could not be confirmed, it says so and tells you to ask. The teudah on the wall is always the answer. PLAN A TRIP Answer three questions and the app builds a day-by-day itinerary around where you are staying, what is actually open, and how far you want to walk. Pin a day to another city and it plans that day there. Export it as a document, or read it on the phone. ALSO Zmanim, a Shabbat clock, walking routes with the climb shown, neighbourhood guides, a phrasebook, live currency, weather, and what is on this week. NO ACCOUNT. NO TRACKING. There is no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising, and no server of ours. Your location is used on the phone and never sent anywhere. Everything you save stays on your device. B'Aeretz is independent and not affiliated with any rabbinical authority, kashrut agency or government body. Always confirm kashrut against the certificate displayed at the establishment.
