NOW IN POLISH Camipack speaks Polish — the whole app, not just the edges. iOS lets you set the language for Camipack alone, without switching your phone. SEVEN LANGUAGES English, German, French, Polish, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian, App Store listings included. A BUS STOP IS NOT A RAILWAY STATION The station field used one word for trains and buses, so every language had to settle on a compromise that suited neither. Each mode now has its own word. SMALL THINGS THAT WERE STILL IN ENGLISH The three buttons under the map — Docs, Packing, Budget — stayed in English whatever language you chose, while the help text referred to them by their translated names. The same for “Find on the map”, and for the list of fields filled in from a document. A BUDGET THAT SAYS WHAT IT MEANS In several languages the amount over budget read as “finished”. It now says what it should.

GO TO MORE THAN ONE PLACE A trip can now name every city it visits — Milan, Bolzano and Riva del Garda, or Berlin and Paris. Each place anchors the trip, so searching for somewhere looks where you are going rather than where your phone happens to be. Say whether each one is a city, a region or a whole country, and Camipack adjusts how far it looks and how it cuts the map. MAPS THAT SKIP THE COUNTRYSIDE Offline maps are cut around each place on its own rather than one box around everything, so a trip that flies out and back no longer downloads the sea in between. The ground along a journey comes too, at the detail that journey is worth: streets for a walk, roads for a drive, the coastline for a ferry. Flights need none — there is nothing to navigate at altitude. TICKETS FROM A PHOTO Attach a booking from your photo library, not only from Files. Camipack reads photographed tickets — and now reads the booking page from your airline's website too, which for a budget airline is often the only thing carrying the flight number, since the emailed invoice has none. MORE AIRLINES READ PROPERLY Tickets from easyJet, Wizz Air, IndiGo, JetBlue and Volotea now import. Their flight numbers contain a digit in the airline code, and Camipack had been quietly refusing every one of them. ONE FLIGHT, HOWEVER MANY TICKETS A family flying together holds a ticket each. The day now shows the journey once, and one card reaches the Lock Screen instead of an identical one per passenger. Both tickets stay where they are — each is that traveller's own document. FLIGHTS THAT LOOK THEMSELVES UP Import a ticket and Camipack reads it: airline, both airports, terminal and status, with nothing to type. Pick the whole family's tickets at once and it collapses the duplicates into one flight per journey. Trains, buses and ferries work the same way, in their own words — a train has a platform, a ferry a berth. ON YOUR LOCK SCREEN A flight appears in the hours before you leave — how long, which terminal, which gate — and keeps counting once you are aboard, to landing rather than take-off. It needs no signal: the countdown runs on the phone itself. Tap it to open the flight. Swipe it away and it stays away. FIND YOUR WAY WITH NO SIGNAL Download a trip's map once and it keeps working with no internet at all. It now shows where you are and points the way to your next stop — a direction and a distance, working in Airplane Mode or abroad with the data switched off. ASK SIRI "Add a trip to Rome in Camipack", "save the Pantheon for later", "what's planned today", "plan a route around Trastevere". SHARE A TICKET STRAIGHT IN Share a PDF from Mail and pick the trip. Camipack files it and reads the dates out of it. YOUR FLIGHT ON THE LOCK SCREEN In the hours before departure a flight shows itself on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island: how long, which terminal, which gate, and whether it is running to time. Once you are aboard it keeps counting — to landing rather than to take-off — and it does all of that with no signal. The countdown and the progress run on the device, so they stay true at 35,000 feet. Trains, buses and ferries do the same, in their own words. A train has a platform, a ferry has a berth, and neither of them lands. REMINDERS BEFORE YOU GO The evening before, while there is still time to pack, and five hours before departure — long enough to get to the airport, which an hour is not. Both can be switched off, along with the Lock Screen card, under the cloud button. TICKETS THAT FILL THEMSELVES IN Import a ticket and Camipack now looks the flight up by itself: the airline, both airports, the terminal and the current status, without you typing any of it. A SCREEN FOR READING A FLIGHT Tapping a flight — from the Lock Screen, from the trip, or from the day — now opens the flight rather than a form. Check its status, get directions to the terminal, open the ticket you filed. Editing is still one tap away. THE DAY, FROM WHERE YOU SLEPT Camipack works out where each day begins and ends: the airport on the day you arrive, your hotel in between, and back to the airport on the day you leave. Your next journey now appears on the trip itself, with the aircraft moving along the route as it flies. FINDING YOUR WAY WITH NO NETWORK A downloaded map can now point you to your next stop — a direction and a distance that need no signal at all.
