Protect the monsters from the traps.
That is the whole game, and it is harder than it sounds. The lasers, flame throwers, electric coils and swinging fists are already aimed. Nothing is hidden, nothing is random, and nothing will happen until you say so. Your monsters are standing in the blast. Move them somewhere the beams cannot reach, hit FINISH, and watch every trap in the room go off at the same instant.
Get it right and they all walk away. Get it wrong and you watch it happen.
SAVE THE MONSTERS
Tap a monster, tap where it should stand. That's it. There are no movement rules to memorize, no pieces that go in funny shapes. The puzzle is not "how do I move" - it's "where is safe", and reading that off a board of eighteen different traps is where the whole game lives.
Then you meet the monsters who change the answer.
- Metal shrugs off one beam. Gold takes two. Diamond survives three, and it is the best shield in the game.
- Any monster stops a beam dead, so standing one in the way saves everyone behind it. Sometimes the answer is a volunteer.
- Power silences every trap around it. Boom silences them too, and kills everything next to it.
- The Thug strips the armor off every tough monster beside him. Keep them apart.
- The Girl runs before the traps fire, and she runs AT the danger. Leave her nowhere that hurts, or park the Thug next to her to hold her still.
Then the Mirror shows up and starts bending lasers around corners, and you have to learn to read the board all over again.
THE CLOCK IS THE SCORE
Three stars means solving it with half the clock still to run. Not fewer moves - faster thinking. Some boards cap your moves too, and some of them quietly rotate a quarter turn while you're staring at them. Nothing about the puzzle changes. Only your grip on it.
TWO WAYS TO PLAY
ORIGINAL MODE - 720 hand-tuned puzzles across 80 zones, wandering through 15 worlds drawn in code: ember rifts, glowing meadows, chrome harbors, ion storms. Lose one and it costs a heart, so you can always come back for it.
ARCADE MODE - one life. unlimited levels, each harder than the last, and a single mistake sends you all the way back to Level 1. How far can you actually get?
WHEN YOU'RE STUCK
Spin the daily wheel for a booster and keep it for the board that really needs one. A Hammer smashes a block. A Pencil fills a hole. Dynamite, Bomb and Missile take traps off the board for good - just remember that everything on a board stops beams, so clearing the block a laser was hitting means that laser now travels further. Boosters help. They don't think for you.
45 badges to collect, daily streaks with shields to protect them, XP, per-puzzle leaderboards, and a Hall of Fame that fills up as you go.

Monsters Trap is a remake of Save All The Robots, a game we first built in 2017 - rebuilt from scratch with generated levels, new monsters and a lot more traps.
