The Greyhaven Files is a story-driven detective adventure about observation and deduction—not combat—and this complete, self-contained case will not simply hand you the truth. INVESTIGATE WITHOUT A GLOWING ANSWER Study illustrated evidence up close and choose the interpretation that makes sense to you. A clue may support more than one explanation, and the most convincing answer is not always the correct one. QUESTION EVERY VERSION OF THE NIGHT Choose what to ask, decide when to press, and watch each witness’s demeanor. Compare their answers with documents, timelines, and details you uncovered elsewhere in the city. BUILD THE CASE YOU BELIEVE Use the case board to review suspects, testimony, evidence, and contradictions. A mistaken deduction does not always lead to a retry screen: it may redirect the investigation, close one line of questioning, or reveal another way to verify the truth. EXPLORE GREYHAVEN Walk through a hand-crafted top-down city and its detailed interiors. Revisit people and places as new information changes the meaning of what you saw before. MAKE THE FINAL ACCUSATION When you believe the case is ready, choose your suspect and support the accusation with the evidence you trust. Identifying the killer is only part of the mystery.
