Added localization for Dutch, German, and French.

A calmer, clearer Wayside Every screen has been redesigned around the places themselves: quieter lists, clearer numbers, and the ring leads. Tap a place on the ring Pick any place on the ring or in the list to see which way to turn, then look toward it or add it to My World. A fuller, more even ring The ring fills out in busy cities and in open country, spreads its names around every direction, and keeps far places out of the centre. Look, redesigned Names stand on the places they label, the place in front of you is highlighted, and you can choose any nearby place to look toward, even beyond the horizon. Follow Direction of Travel A new setting lets the ring follow the way you are travelling instead of the way your phone points. Steadier on the move Speed and position settle faster after a stop and when you come back to the app. Journeys at a glance Each journey shows the shape of its route and opens to the places it found, in order. Larger text Screens adapt to the largest text sizes.

Steadier Around Turn on the spot and the places a few kilometres away now stay on the ring. Before, a turn could briefly leave only the nearest ones. One name per peak Where two map sources put the same summit a little apart, Wayside now names it once instead of twice. Cleaner discoveries Regions appear by name. Where the map data holds only a code for a region, it is left out rather than shown as a number.

My World Everything Wayside helps you notice now has somewhere to live. Places you find and journeys you record collect into a world of your own that grows as you explore, with the records it produces along the way: the farthest thing you have seen, the highest, the first. Open it for the first time and it introduces itself with a film you scroll through at your own pace. See a place from the ground Tap any discovery to see it on Apple's 3D satellite imagery, and where Apple has been, from street level with Look Around. Keep something you can see A new button on Around adds any place near you straight to My World. A new introduction Wayside now opens by flying over the real world instead of describing it. Also in this version - You now shows your last thirty days against the month before it. - Better contrast throughout, in both Light and Dark Mode. - Landscape layouts for the introduction and My World. - Optional, anonymous usage reporting you are asked about once and can turn off at any time in Settings. Your location is never part of it. - Fixed: deleting a journey no longer deletes the discoveries you made on it.
