HOW IT WORKS Photograph the label — front and back — and SWRL identifies the bottle and builds a tasting guide for it. Then it walks you through the wine the way a sommelier would: Colour — tilt the glass and match what you see, with coaching on what the hue says about age and style. Nose — swirl, then find the aromas. SWRL suggests what to look for in this particular wine, with a library of ninety descriptors when you find something else. Palate — sweetness, acidity, tannin, body, alcohol, finish. Every level explained against something you've actually tasted, so "medium acidity" stops being an abstraction. YOUR PALATE PROFILE Every tasting sharpens a profile of what you like — not what critics like. Over time SWRL learns whether you lean toward crisp or soft, light or full, and tells you in plain language. YOUR JOURNAL Every wine you've tasted, with your own notes, kept. Plus a share card at the end of each tasting. HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT KNOWS When SWRL finds published notes for your exact bottle, it says so.
