Inspectro turns your iPhone or iPad's microphone into a real-time audio
spectrogram, chromatic tuner, and BPM meter — a scrolling waterfall of
sound rendered live on the GPU, with the tools a musician actually reaches
for built right in.
LIVE SPECTROGRAM WATERFALL
Watch frequency and loudness scroll by in real time, rendered with Metal
for the lowest latency the hardware allows. Choose from 12 color
palettes — including scientifically accurate turbo and plasma colormaps,
plus live-reactive palettes that shift hue with the note you're playing,
the beat, or the volume.
CHROMATIC TUNER
An adaptive pitch detector tracks the dominant note in what you're
playing, with harmonic correction so it locks onto the true fundamental
instead of an overtone — with a cents readout precise enough for real
tuning, not just a rough guess.
BPM / TEMPO METER
A time-domain onset detector listens to the actual attack of each note or
beat and estimates tempo from the pattern between them — useful for
figuring out the BPM of anything playing nearby.
SPECTACULAR FX
Real GPU bloom around loud peaks, colored sparkles and shockwave rings
that pulse with what you're playing, and an optional CRT shimmer overlay
— all toggleable, all free to turn off if you just want the clean signal.

Inspectro never records or saves audio, never transmits anything, and
contains no analytics or tracking of any kind. Every bit of analysis
happens on your device, in real time, and nothing it hears ever leaves
your phone.
