HoldLINE keeps track of your calisthenics progression, whether you are chasing a planche or a front lever, or building your one rep max and the basics underneath.
Fifteen seconds is longer than you think.
Every other training app counts sets, reps and weight, then asks you to squeeze a front lever into that shape. HoldLINE counts the hold. Fifteen clean seconds at bodyweight is a long time when nothing is moving, and the app tracks the number you actually hold.
Built by a calisthenics athlete with ten years on the bar, not by a product team that read about it.
SKILL LOGIC, NOT WEIGHTLIFTING LOGIC
Sets times reps times weight describes a bench press well and a planche not at all. HoldLINE is built the other way round:
• Seven skill families with their own progression ladders: front lever, back lever, planche, handstand push-up, muscle-up, iron cross, handstand
• A hold timer measured to a tenth of a second, with a countdown so you can film yourself and still start at zero
• Fifteen seconds is the reference for a static hold, not a rule the app enforces. It measures, you decide when a stage is yours
• A band that helps you and a band that fights you are two different things, and the app keeps them apart
• Static holds and dynamic reps are logged separately, because they are not the same movement
THE BASICS TOO
Sixty-nine exercises from pull-ups and dips to squats, curls and calf raises, with equipment, added weight and your own additions. The skills are the point, but the basics are what carry them.
BEFORE YOU PULL
Sleep, energy and joints, rated in three taps. Muscles recover in days and tendons take weeks, which is why static work punishes people who train on feel alone. The app does not tell you to stop. It puts the number in front of you before you decide.
SEE WHAT YOU ACTUALLY LOADED
An anatomical body map fills in from your own logged sets, front and back. Four sessions that all pulled show up as a lopsided map, and that is information you cannot get from a list of numbers.
A SESSION THAT ENDS WITH AN ANSWER
Finish a session and you get the duration, what you did, and what was special: a stage unlocked, a personal best, swiped through one card at a time. A best only counts against sets under the same conditions, so eight reps with twenty kilos on the belt never pretends to beat twelve without.
YOUR TRAINING STAYS ON YOUR PHONE
There is no account, no login and no server. Every set is written to your own device and there is nowhere for it to go. No analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and nothing to sign up for. Write a backup file whenever you want a copy somewhere safe, in plain readable text, with nothing to be locked into.
It also means the app works with no signal at all. Gym basements have no reception, and a tracker that hangs while saving does not get used during training.
WHAT IT DELIBERATELY DOES NOT DO
No calories. No feed, followers or leaderboards. It does not tell you when you are ready, it measures and you decide. It is not a medical device and not a rehabilitation tool.
