RoadTally detects when you start and stop driving using your iPhone's motion sensors — not constant GPS polling like other mileage apps. That means accurate trip logging without draining your battery. Every trip's real driven route is recorded and mapped, not just a straight line between two points.
ACCURATE TAX CALCULATIONS, THREE COUNTRIES
• United States: current IRS standard mileage rate, updated automatically
• United Kingdom: HMRC Approved Mileage Allowance Payments (AMAP), including the 10,000-mile tier
• Germany: official per-kilometer business allowance, plus a legally formatted Fahrtenbuch (driver's logbook) export with odometer readings and business-partner details — built for the Finanzamt
Rates are built in and kept current, but you can also enter a manual rate override any time a government updates its rate before we do.

Tag any trip Business or Personal with a single swipe. Frequently visited places (like your office or a regular client) are recognized automatically after a few visits, so recurring trips classify themselves.

Classify your last trip right from your wrist. While driving, see your live distance and estimated deduction on your Lock Screen, in the Dynamic Island, and on your CarPlay dashboard — no other mileage tracker does this.
REPORTS YOUR ACCOUNTANT WILL ACTUALLY LIKE
Export a clean CSV, a signed PDF report with a summary and signature block, or (in Germany) a Fahrtenbuch that meets the Finanzamt's formatting requirements. Filter by day, week, month, year, or a custom date range — and generate a report per vehicle if you track more than one.

Open RoadTally, allow location access, and just drive — your first trip appears once you arrive. Swipe it Business or Personal, and you're done. The correct rate, the route on the map, and the running total are handled for you.

- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
• Start and stop trips manually — tap "Start a Trip" on the Trips screen (or in Settings) to record a drive from the very first metre, and "End Trip" when you're done. Automatic detection still runs for every other trip.
• Faster automatic detection — RoadTally now starts recording as soon as driving is likely instead of waiting, so you no longer lose the beginning of a trip.
• Apple Watch now shows your current trip immediately when you open it.
• Clearer RoadTally Pro overview on the Trips screen.
