Reminders on your schedule: daily on the counter, weekly in the fridge. Feeding ratios shift from 1:1:1 for a young culture up to 1:5:5 for a mature one, because a three-week-old starter cannot eat through what a six-month-old thrives on.

BAKES THAT RUN THEMSELVES
Complete a step and its timer starts itself. Close the app; it will tell you when to come back. Sessions survive restarts, so a fourteen-hour cold proof is no more effort to follow than a twenty-minute rest.

CITED, NOT VIBES
A troubleshooting library where every entry links its source, graded so you can tell a real problem from sourdough just being sourdough. Some of it disagrees with the internet deliberately:
• The float test is not a readiness check — whole grain starters often sink at their peak.
• A new starter going quiet around day four is progress, not failure.
• Pink or orange streaking is the one sign that cannot be rescued.
IT COLLECTS NOTHING
No account. No analytics. No ads. No location. No third-party SDKs. Reminders are generated on your phone, so there is no push server — and no servers at all. Bubbo works completely offline: on a plane, in a basement kitchen, indefinitely.
