The game now opens on the main menu. Your first match is still a guided one, it just waits for you to press Play. Restoring a purchase can no longer leave the Settings screen stuck, and it always tells you what happened. Settings now says plainly whether adverts are on or removed. A proper launch screen, so the game no longer flashes white on the way in.

Cavern maps are playable, and the guided first match lets you leave. • Matches on a Cavern map put every grub outside the map, above the top of the screen, and could not be played at all. They are playable now. • Quitting the guided first match returned you straight to another one. It now takes you to the menu. • The soundtrack plays by default. Four tracks were in the game and switched off for everybody. Settings turns them off again if you would rather. • Five sounds that were recorded but never played can now be heard: a mine arming, a dud fizzling, a crate being collected, a crate breaking apart, and a fuel drum heating up. PLAYING • Aiming stops when your finger does. A quick drag used to carry on turning the barrel for nearly three seconds after you let go. • The weapon strip is no longer lit during your opponent's turn, where taps on it were being thrown away. • The hint line no longer says "You are up" while you are waiting for the other player. ONLINE • The results screen tells you whether you won, instead of describing an online match as pass and play. • Play again after an online series no longer starts a local match with nobody in it. • A match that ends for a reason other than somebody winning now says why, instead of returning you to the menu without a word. • Leaving a search or a match hangs up properly, so the person on the other end is told rather than left waiting. PURCHASES AND PRIVACY • In Europe, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Cratergut no longer shows adverts, and no longer asks for advertising consent. The game is unchanged otherwise. • Remove Ads now removes the optional "watch to unlock" advert as well, immediately. • The Privacy options row stays available after buying, so consent can still be withdrawn.

Online play is easier to get into. • When a search stops, the lobby now offers a Brutal opponent straight away rather than making you wait for it, and a Look again button wherever searching again would help. • That match is played on the same island, with the same two squads of four and the same fixed rules an online game uses. It is a single match rather than a best of three, and the lobby says so. Fixes • Settings tries the Remove Ads price again if it could not be fetched at launch, so a moment without a signal no longer leaves it unavailable for the rest of the session. • When a purchase cannot be offered on your account or in your region, the game now says that, instead of blaming the network. • Restore Purchases tells you when ads are already removed, rather than asking you to sign in and try again. • Corrected wording in Settings and on the Record screen.
