Hawkeye is on LinkedIn. The link sits in the accounts row beside TikTok, Instagram, X and Facebook, and tapping any of them now opens that app directly instead of the website. Declared races show their result: who was declared, the leading parties, and their votes. The five by-elections of 19 September are closed. Elections already held no longer sit under "upcoming" on the home screen. Open them from Results or Races, where the "show more" count now matches what is listed. "I'm at my unit" is easier to see when you report.

Your own copy of every result you report — a card with the polling unit, the counts as you entered them, and the ledger entry proving when it was recorded. It saves to your phone with your photos, so you can send it on without a network or a login. Practice runs now produce the same card, clearly marked as practice, so nothing on election day is the first time you see one. Party agents and CSO observers on a situation room roster can tell their coordinator they have arrived, from the report screen, before any result is filed. Invite others straight from your profile. Also: the practice run is framed like the real report screen, cards list parties by vote count, and the Hawkeye hawk appears on the card and in every header.

Hawkeye now speaks four languages. Every screen — the home feed, reporting, results, race pages, alerts, the help and legal pages — is available in English, Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba. Language and appearance on the home screen. Tap EN to move between the four languages and the sun to switch light and dark. The screen follows straight away, with no restart. Reports you file offline now send themselves. Anything queued while you were out of signal goes up in the background once you are connected again, rather than waiting for you to reopen the app. Campaign invitation links open in the app. Tap an invite from a campaign and you land on the invitation itself, which now says plainly what joining shares and what it does not. Your preferences sit at the top of the menu, where they are quickest to reach.

Reports are now checked against where you are before you file, so a polling unit far from you can’t be chosen by mistake. Permission and system prompts now appear as Hawkeye’s own screens. A smaller, faster app.
